Love it, a good director never 'tells' the audience what to think, just put it out there and let the experience talk to each individual.... That being said, this was an AMAZINGLY directed film with so many layers of control to it, from shot design, set design, lighting, smells, food, weather, subtle words and actions...all in purpose of the story.... nothing is wasted! LOVE IT!

I just saw this interview after seeing Choi Woo Shik's interview in English 7 years ago. It amazes me how his Canadian accent is slowly disappearing. Of course his English is still great but it's fascinating to see! I loved him since the first time I saw him in Fight for My Way and so glad to see him getting to the top now after all these years working hard as an actor.

I love how director bong just leaves in suspense for us. It feels like reading a book and when the author has left for us to think and wander our individual interpretations. Even when he was asked what was the definition of the title,he straightfully answered and that it could be anything what the audience(is) want it to be.

I watched this movie in downtown Toronto. Tbh I freaked out 🤣 I rarely watch thriller or horror movies because I will not be able to sleep after the movie...but because this one has comedy factors so I decided to watch it with all my bravery 😒 The movie is awesome (but I’m still scaredd at the same time...😆). It’s very funny and meaningful. The plot is unique. The funniest part was to go home and check for some reviews which people explained the scenes in the movie!!!! I’m not sure if there are showtimes in Halloween or not. If yes, it could be a good option 🤣

Can we hold on a sec to talk about how cute Bong Joon- ho and Kang Ho-song are ?? Loved Parasite, laughed a lot. The concept very Korean, the Rich (the host) and the Poor (the host) both consuming each other. I had no real feeling or empathy for any of them. The poor were grasping and conniving and the rich had no idea! I really liked the housekeeper, and her husband who lived below in the 'depths' how he would come up and spend time with his wife dance and eat together, that was a nice touch. The funniest moment for me was under the table. There are many hilarious moments and great writing and direction I thought about this movie for a long after I saw it.. Kamsamnida.

gomkuma I am a former journalist. No such thing as a stupid question if you can get smart answers. The outcome is more important. This line of questioning may sound basic, but in journalism it’s called priming questions. They’re also called warmup or buildup questions to some degree before going deeper. There’s some psychology at play here as well. You want to make it easy at first for your interviewees first. Only bad thing here is if the interview was really short, then it may need to go deeper right away. Or the interviewer intentionally made his questions very basic because they had no time. Still it manages to get the interviewees to respond. From their body language, they seem comfortable enough to respond. That’s good enough. It could be better of course.
