When I was younger, my mum had a really old car that had a cassette player and I will always remember this song specifically on a yellow cassette amongst other hits. My sister and I would sit in the back and sing along, as well as my friend would join in when she heard it. Absolute banger!

My mother loved 80s music, especially this song. So I remember this song coming on the radio many times when we had our car rides together or during any family gatherings where she would love to sing and dance to it. Unfortunately, she passed away last month and since then I haven’t listened to this song since until now. Actually, I’m on a 80s music listening streak on KZbin right now and it’s making me feel closer to her. Te quiero mucho, Mami!! Rest In Peace!! Edit: Thank you so much for the kind words, everybody!!

This song will for me always evoke the hot, sunny summer of 1983 that I spent working on an archaeological dig in a field in rural Carmarthenshire. It's surprising to think that 40 years have now passed since that time, as it doesn't seem like it was so long ago. Time flies and life is short.

Well, the one thing that I can say that I like about Boy George, is that he takes very good care of his mother, who obviously loves him dearly. And he also took great care of his father. Bc, I saw a documentary about George, around the time when he was arrested for keeping some guy at his house, bc of an apparent kidnapping situation. But, I thought that the documentary was going to show him as a monster. But, I have to say that outside of Boy George’s clear obsession with the band’s drummer, that he’s a really big family guy. And, that definitely surprised me the most.

My dearly departed grandmother absolutely loved Boy George. She was an American born in 1925. Me in 1978. She was a super hip chica.

Me too bro. This song represents youth, excitement, and everything cool about the 80s. BTW, Culture Club and Cyndi Lauper are CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED because of their wild look. But they are talented musicians. If there's ANY doubt listen to I DROVE ALL NIGHT...

There's a loving in your eyes all the way If I listened to your lies would you say I'm a man without conviction I'm a man who doesn't know How to sell a contradiction You come and go You come and go [Chorus:] Karma Karma Karma Karma Karma Chameleon You come and go You come and go Loving would be easy if your colors were like my dream Red, gold and green Red, gold and green Didn't hear your wicked words every day And you used to be so sweet I heard you say That my love was an addiction When we cling our love is strong When you go you're gone forever You string along You string along [Chorus] Every day is like survival You're my lover not my rival Every day is like survival You're my lover not my rival I'm a man without conviction I'm a man who doesn't know How to sell a contradiction You come and go You come and go [Chorus 3x]
