Literary, art, and film criticism be damned I guess. When a PhD student in the humanities writes their dissertation, they marshal a lot of facts to support the opinion they are presenting.

You have to take your hat off to Fran. She hasnt written a book in 30 years, has no day job or visible means of support and nearly beat out Jimmy Fallon in a bidding war for an apt but otherwise blithely waltzes her way through life in NY--an icon of the city

@@alejandromolinac “I would agree with myself” when I say that you probably have an issue understanding that expansion of mind is always happening because of others. You’ll be surprised that you have not had an original thought yourself. Even your comment has been said millions of times. We are all a mixture of what we are exposed to in our culture and environment. Everything new is regurgitated from the old. It’s called Inspiration. But go off Mr Alejandro…be free to be randomly rude to a lady that you don’t know on the internet to appear seemingly intelligent! Good for you!

I can't agree with the baby comment. As an infant, my first child hardly ever laughed...he simply wouldn't "perform" and do the cute little baby things for the amusement of anyone. Throughout his public school education, he regularly earned low grades. However, once he turned 19, something "switched on" Now, the same son is a Mensa member, graduated with honors from university, has artwork in some museum in Tokyo, is well known in the spoken word community and runs his own urban farm, which serves as a model for other urban farmers in the southeastern states. These are just a few of his accomplishments.
