Since Fran Lebowitz is not on social media I cannot tell her directly how much I agree with her "environmentalism". I, too, never had children, but I do have an AC that I frugally use only during heat waves. Not having any children may not absolve all my actions, but it's the greatest contribution to the environment I could've made.

It’s not just whether you have children or not, it’s how you live and choose to raise them that truly matters. Our two children know more about helping sustain a habitable environment than people like this “comedian”. If only Catholics, Mormons, etc… are having (most of them too many) children, then their children ARE the future! There is a way to have one or two children while doing what you can to live a sustainable life and raising them to do the same.
