This is amazing! I'm so happy you picked up on the blood connecting the houses in the intro - I had to explain it to my father. Lysa Arryn on the balcony, sorry I mean Rhanerys was creepy. MAKE WESTEROS GREAT AGAIN I like Viserys - why/how did Balerion die? Maybe I've missed something. Also, the quote from Rhanerys about seeing a woman on the throne.. hmmmm I feel like Cersei said the exact same thing. Something sneaky about Otto... I'm sure we'll find out 🤔 "A truely pathetic show" 😂😂😂 Why does Daemon want to marry that woman? She has no personality. The dragons look strange and elongated. Too much plot armour. When Raynera (spelling ugh) takes the egg back, notice how she's not wearing the necklace Daemon gave her. 🤔🤔🤔 Watch out for Corlys. And the new rock band CRAB FEEDER. Heavy metal band of course. Great video again m'lord.

I could NOT AGREE more. These guys do their homework! They know more about this show than ANY of the network professional shows that critique new series!! .. Big name shows. "EXTRA" or E or Hollywood Access..I could go on but I won't. This show should be on TV and be given awards. The time it takes to produce a show like this costs thousands! Here is a KZbin show being paid out of the creators pockets. Bravo Culture Vulture! You are a FUNNY and very accurate show. ❤

They butchred Daemon screen time a lot. We neither get to see him stealing dragon egg, attacking Crab feeder troops for 2 years or killing Crab Feeder in combat. Sad because it was the only character I was rooting for

Hmmm......I think I kinda disagree with your point about Visery's choice at the end done just for dramatic effect and for the sake of subverting expectations. We can see Otto's manipulation and conspiring in this, though done rather subtly and . Also, yes the most sensible and politically smart decision would have been to marry Laenor but the problem is Viserys can at times make the less reasonable decisions to please whoever as it was well established in this two episodes examples being his passivity over the situation in the stepstones . It's his character... He's a weak and compromised individual. In the books, he ought to have systematically overturned the Succession laws and after naming Rhaenyra his heir with the assistance of the council and consulting the lord's of the realm but he leaves it at that. And this is one of the factors that leads to the dance civil war that happens later on.

I think it's poorly presented by me, tbh. The issue is not that it doesn't make sense to "go with his heart", but rather that they tried to make sense of his relationship with Alicent, but not too much, all so they could have their surprise effect when he chooses her, and that simply falls really flat for me.

@@CultureVultureMedia1 Well the "surprise" is for Rhaenyra and Corlys. With Corlys it exists as a way to push the plot forward and with Rhaenyra it serves to undo all the relationship building that had happened earlier (the effect of which we saw in Episode 3). I will say though that Alicent being there is just for dramatic effect.

@@CultureVultureMedia1 I'm not talking about him choosing Alicent for love, I'm talking about how Otto influenced and manipulated his decision. There was an established point where they could've drawn this ,when Viserys began speculating that Corlys probably had other hidden ambitions like gaining himself power other than strengthen the line with the subtle tensions they had between themselves . Otto could have used this to his advantage and come up with something to advice the king against marrying Leanor and taking Corlys' offer.

9:30 Actually I thought this was rather predictable ....and I have to disagree they setup hints of the king developing feelings for Alicent(eg; You shall not speak to Rhaenerya of our little meeting) even if it was entirely fleshed. And to add on they give us subtle cue that Otto manipulates him to that decision considering how much weak willed and a people pleaser Viserys. Unfortunately done off screen. I'm just surprised people didn't see this coming.

It's not that it's surprising, it's rather unjustified. His bond with Alicent wasn't exactly so compelling you could see why he would set aside duty and diplomatic strategy for her. It's just so flat. At least, imo. Suppose I could have made myself clearer than simply pointing out the "lack of build up".

The only sense where it could justified is Otto's manipulation at play considering how Visery's had been so far developed to have a weak willed character trait.

What do you think of that "Fake as Fu*c accent of Daemon's girlfriend? It isn't French, German, Italian, Dutch, or any other REAL dialect from ANYWHERE! It's commonly referred to as, "That fake as Fuc* TV/Movie accent from Nowhere specific... it drove me nuts every time she spoke. It was VERY SIMILAR th the fake as Fuc* Nordic accent they created for tee series "Vikings". Exactly the same.

The whole script is a mess I agree. But I think the current script written for Corlys should give more Idris Elba vibe and the actor they have is a softie for Corlys Velariyon. Also I don’t like Viserys zero Targaryen charisma, and Lannisters are just NOT Lannisters.
