@@DmytroBogdan1st of all, You know nothing about film production. Shooting in the dark isn't as cheap as you think. Secondly my point for Amazon is the Rings of Power massive budget. Sure HBO is a big company owned by Warner Bro. Discovery it doesn't mean that they will pour all they money onto 1 show because they can. Thirdly, The writing of this show obviously loves to time skip a lot. And the episodes we had so far is character development of the main cast. So it doesn't matter for the crab feeder to explain what his motifs are. It's already done through exposition.

Man, I personally do like the show despite its errors (which at the very least are not as atrocious as GoT's final seasons), but you're absolutely right about Matt Smith. He is easily the best out of all in the entire cast, and the way he portrays Daemon is very in line with how the Daemon of the books was said to be a "rogue prince".

In my opinion, the part with daemon is just fine. He looks to take cover from the arrows and ran forward. He only took the arrows when he stops a while. And with his armor (Plate and chainmail underneath) its reasonable, that the arrows just dont get to deep in his flesh. So overall, im fine with this. But I enjoyed you review very much!

it does make sense but imo they shouldn't have shown him getting an arrow just below the knee, he didn't have good protection there and it looks like a debilitating injury

No person can run and do those moves in plate and chain armor. Mountain from GoT had that armor, do you need any other comparison? Daemon had some chains on chest and mostly leather armor that is why arrows manage to puncture. And lets not forget about 50 archers on the high ground who were able to hold enemies for 2 years and they suddenly can't hit one man on plain sight?!

i feel like your channel would get 100 times more views if you were %10 less cynical... Which is a shame cuz i like many things you do but just as many makes me cringe. 2:07 for example, something that was there to clearly show how Queen uses her authority on princess which is %100 an important story development to show what their relationship is currently. Editing it as if its just a filler scene just makes me roll my eyes and actually close the video.

I love the witty comments about the show, but I still think the points you make are not mistakes of writing. Like the fact that the crabfeeder doesn't end up being relevant to the show, or Raenyrha's contradictions. I just think the crabfeeder story was always meant to be the sideshow, and it ends up portraying Daemon as a great and (too) proud warrior who was wreckless and did everything just to be able to glorify himself alone before his brother can help him. And Raenyrha, as a 15 years old who seems to live to be in contradiction of her father (like so many teenagers) isn't meant to stay on the same page for the entire show. So yeah, as of now I don't think the show is running on terrible mistakes like Game of Thrones ended up doing, it has plenty of time to devellop the terrible-ness.

We could discuss our assumptions about the show's intentions in perpetuity, but the fact that the show doesn't make these things clear in the first place is the problem. There shouldn't be much room for discussion. This is a common problem with shows and movies these days, because when there are so many wills and agendas to accomodate, we end up with so many messages it dilutes all of them.
