I found the Siphon Sluice works really well on flour gold. I brought home a 5-gallon bucket from Cape Disappointment and the Siphon Sluice captured that gold! That was an impressive amount of gold too. I found a culvert spot in the Cascades that I really want to go pan.

I was just looking at Cape D the other night. People are getting hpa,s approved. Any idea on the process and how hard it will be to get one?
@UncleJimmyOutWest11 ай бұрын
@@DoggoneGold I heard it was easy. I haven't gone through the process myself yet. It's a really long drive from my house to Cape D.

Thanks! I'm still trying to get it dialed in as I usually just pan pan pan.
@buffalokrisgoldprospecting Жыл бұрын
Right on brother that culvert is holding some nice gold. Them pieces had some definitions to em. Stormy was happy to be there too. Definitely go back to the culvert with a sluice. Buckets shovel and a hand pump dredge and go to town. .7 is a great day
@DoggoneGold Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It's a tricky spot with washington rules and so flat there without a pump or water redirection I just don't think I could move the volumes and would still have to classify. Will see though! Regardless lots of buckets coming out in near future.

Fantastic AU!!! I've got a two hour drive to my spot so I bring buckets home as well. Always nice to run it at home!! Give Stormy a scratch for me, right behind the ear! 🐕👍⛏️🇺🇸

Thanks! That Culvert spot is such a flat slow moving area or I'd try and setup on the creek. Rules make it very difficult also. Will do!! 😀

Thanks! I need to dial it in a bit more, but I got through 5 buckets fairly quickly. I hate slow feeding classified material. 😂

Makes me want to get out and try my luck. Good video and I’m surprised you are not dredging it all out.

You definitely should! I would if I could! Rules are disappointing, at the least.

Years ago I found quite a bit of culvert gold in Burien out of Miller Creek. If you can imagine.

That's awesome! Quite a few years ago, I heard some construction crews were getting gold out of the streets of Bremerton on a road project. Wonder if they checked the culverts or storm drains 🤔

That's one of the better spots I've found that's fairly close to home and not crazy steep. Last year, upstream didn't do so well, so hopefully, I can go get more buckets to run at home. 😀

Yes! Theirs actually quite a bit here in the Olympics, but you sure gotta work for it. So far, wwgpaa. wpma, and republic mining. How about you?

@@DoggoneGold I’m in Bedrock Prospecting. Looking to join med clubs to try some new areas, especially up in Olympic mountains.
@DoggoneGold7 ай бұрын
@shawnnielsen6699 Not any good club claims over here on my side. Fair amount of national forest, though. Unfortunately, most of the known producing spots are tied up in the national park. Check out WPMA they have some good claims. I'm planning on visiting several of them soon. If you get over this way, feel free to hit me up. I'm always down for a prospecting buddy!

I often thought what a job it would be to get a contract with the state or forest service to clean out culverts and get paid for the job and any gold be a bonus pay 🤔
@GordonDouglas-rc3nq6 ай бұрын
You just need a 2" dredge would work perfectly instead of the way your doing it those underwater vacuum cleaners work great for that and you won't be losing a speck, just think of it then hou can pull an ounce a day out.
