The new pan has a couple cleanup riffles. This is a 3D printed prototype not to the market yet. The new design has some changes. We will be doing a review within a week so far we haven't used a better pan, no classifying needed is also a bonus. The back fits the same as a 10" pan to the brim but you can go though a pan in 60 seconds safely.
@911mining5 жыл бұрын
For all those intrested so I don't have to keep typing this out. The pan we are using in this video is a new design and a 3D printed prototype. We have been testing this for 2 months now and have not used a pan to date which has better recovery and efficiency. The pan is designed to capture the most amount of fine gold possible. There is no classifying required with or without the dam in place. A typical pan with this should take about 60-90 seconds max, although we have seen the same results in substantially less time. Over the course of the two months there have been slight adjustments to the design as well so the newer designs will be a bit different. We will be doing a review within the next week, in which we take the tailings from this pan verses a conventional pan and send them in for a SCR21 AAU assay for gold in the tailings. This is meant to tell what pan lost more gold. Stay tuned because you will be surprised!! The website for the company that makes this pan will be made live at the time of the review and we will post it in the videos description. Thanks for watching and happy prospecting!

@911mining5 жыл бұрын
We are going to be doing a review where we test this with a regular gold pan the same size and send the tailings in for a SCR21 pan concentrate analysis which will tell us what pan recovered more gold, we placed the same exact amount of fine gold in both pans. The website for the pan www.placertools.com will be avaliable and made live when we release the review. The pan will only go into production I believe if our testing shows it captured better gold than a conventional pan.

Love it, its perfect for exploration. It's easy to fit in a bag, creeks can be super low and you don't have to search for a spot to pan cause waters to low, I think it's really good for fine gold recovery. It also generally takes 1/3 of the time to pan, no classifying needed. If your a veteran panner the side to side motions only is something you need to get used to, but it's by far a preferred pan of mine.
