I appreciate the comment! I took a position that didn't leave me much creative bandwidth to make videos. However, I'm back teaching engineering full time so I'm planning a new series of videos to launch this fall!

Is an inlet controlled culvert good or bad
@kennethwlamb

It's neither good nor bad. It just is. For example: in places where there is variable topography and your channel slopes are often 1.5% or greater, basically all culverts are inlet control.

Please why we assume orifice flow even the section of culvert is big ? Why we use small orifice ? Why we didn't use large orifice? Thanks

Orifice flow is neither small nor large. We use the orifice flow equation when the inlet is completely submerged.
