@@200130769 dozens, maybe hundreds of steel alloys have been used in automotive manufacturing, especially considering this truck was made in a different country 30 or so years after the other one. Newer cars and trucks are trying to be as light as possible so they aren’t as thick and tough as older ones. Sounds like the crumple zone in the front of the Caddy met the mostly straight frame in the back of your truck and did it’s job. Hope everyone was safe.

I own a 2006 Cummins, single owner, completely stock. If you keep it nice and take care of it, it's an amazing truck, but so many people don't. I see so many 16-year-olds do a lift kit and put rubber bands on their diesel for the "status", removing any ounce of usability in the truck. And 38k for that clapped-out thing is a war crime.

Cummins are the best diesels made. I still have my 97 Dodge truck with the old 12 valve Cummins. Still starts right up. No electronics. 200k on the engine and still runs the same. Pulls the same. Still 19 mpg. Not like those IH engines in the Ford. I will keep my Dodge

Have been a dodge guy my whole life, and I think this video is on point and funny as shit. He's the only person on KZbin that I've seen put all of these different trucks to work and to see how capable each one is. Extreme testing of these trucks are important, as it shows us what to buy and what to look out for. In reality if you pay attention to his videos, he's giving you the best advice for each vehicle and literally tells you what not to do so you don't get yourself in a bind with a truck. He shows that just because a truck is pretty doesnt mean that it's fully capable even if it's a 4x4. And honestly I appreciate the fuck out of that. @@Lysergic_ I also got mine for an insane deal. I have an 04 ram 1500 with the 4.7 in it. 322,000 miles and going strong. Same engine and trans in it. I do the coils, plugs, and injectors often just to keep it in check. Has been the best truck I've ever owned by far so that's why I'm big on dodge I guess. Havent had anything fatal really happen because of the amount of maintenance I do on it just to keep her going. She runs great as long as you keep your fluids up and fix those misfires pretty quickly.

@@Lysergic_ if it has only 105k on it, then it has a long life ahead of it. Just dont let any problem with the engine go too long without fixing because itll cause other failures as well. In my engine if I do not fix a misfire pretty quick it causes other things to start taking a crap inside and it just makes for more problems when usually it's just a plug or a coil
