We began testing our Fleece 63/68 Cheetah, and we ran into some serious tuning issues!

Thanks for sharing and the full disclosure. These are the benefits of being able to tune on the dyno. I'll be curious to hear if the truck feels stronger on the street once the tuning gets worked out. As always the commentary from yourself and Myer makes any video fun to watch.

Yea thats wild bro cause I have similar set up on a 03 5.9 dually same valve train hardware same fleece cheetah turbo but im using 40 percent over injectors from fleece 10 mil cp3 from them a fass 165 and tuned by firepunk and my butt dynos all of 650 700 plus that sounded kinda flat mine pulls like a freight train thru 4k rpm so yea definatley some issues to work out id like to go to a bigger turbo also but trust me there is still some fun to have with that stock appearing turbo there's power on the table

I’ve done 900-1000hp on a modified he351 they are fun but nothing lasts forever

@@horsetorquesdiesel yea mine was fun for awhile still is but im looking for the next step just don't know where to go cause I still tow with it and the stockish cheetah spools immediately but I'd like to go bigger was told the 5.9 doesn't spool a 465 or the 467.7 as well as a 6.7 so there laggy and won't light till above 2k rpm you got any advice

Stick with that turbo!!! Just need better tuning. WIth that same set up i ran 727 wrhp and it was consistent on many dyno's. Also just by listening and watching the smoke it needs more timing down low with more fuel to help getting that turbo to light a lot harder.

Can't always win every time, sometimes just not hurting parts is winning. It sucks that it made less power than the stock charger though.

Pretty wild it made a 100 more horse on the stock turbo

It’s pulling fuel when this turbo wants to make power the stock turbo hit peak earlier in the RPM

I have a 2006 g56 efi live 5 position switch with 50 horse overs would a cheetah be a good daily runner for me im looking for as little of lag as possible cuz I have a 15k fifth wheel but like what I'm seen with the cheetah my other choice is the ats 3000

Check your map sensor . I've had the same problem. With only 30 lb of boost change map sensor and run it one more time does it hurt.

So I'm not super on top of this defueling and turbo change to other one will still have fueling issue? I thought would be higher but you will find issue and it will bust loose

The 67mm turbine moves the power band past where a stocker so with the defuel it can’t make the power
