Hello Simon, I know this was an old video, but maybe you know this repair is the same on Cummins Isx 870 engine? (EGR 2003-2007)? Leaking oil from exhaust manifold. Thanks!

Did you use any gasket sealant for the head cover when you put it back

No you dont need it. Ir has reusable rubber gasket. Use brake cleaner to clean it before put it back.

I have oil leaking from the backside of my brand new turbo. I was told it’s the value seal. Do you think it’s any way to check this? Or can it be a bad seal in the turbo. I just had my engine overhaul with 40 miles on it. Any suggestions?

It shouldnt be any oil on the turbo. Clean it with brake cleaner when it cools. Drive it check again. If you have oil leak take turbo off. And check if no oil coming from exhaust manifold. Then your turbo is bad. There is place in georgia that rebuilds turbos way cheapier than dealer. Thats their phone if you need [phone].

This guy telling me I have a bad valve seal inside my engine that it’s not the turbo that’s what he thinks. But if I take the exhaust manifold off will this tell me everything I need to know

@@bossofbosses7009 I'm having same problem . Oil leaking from turbo. It was happening with my old. I ended putting in a newer motor with se turbo and the turbo still leaks. I'm thinking it's my turbo... do you end up changing your turbo or seals?

Valve spring compressor part #4919358 Updated Valve seal kit #4376219 I dont remember part # fuel connectors, injectors orings and copper seals. Check with dealer using engine s/n. Good luck!
