my 2005 ISX 15 idles rough until warmed up than starts working nice and even. That warming up may take up to 30 min. So I'm looking for possible causes.

Good video, yeah oil in the air dryer cartridge is never good. The CM870 I'm working on #6 keeps failing cylinder performance test and it has a real back thump coming out the intake. And oil smells like it may have Diesel in it. Any ideas

I believe my cm 870 is having an issue with these I get a low fuel pressure code, surging idle and hesistation. How do you diagnose which actuator to replace? My dealer is recommending the whole IFSM module gets taken apart to clean it as they saw debris in tank and getting back pressure in the IFSM. Another video mentioned a check valve too not sure where it is on mine.

@@srandsonsrepair4685 okay just wondering I'm having a similar problem the truck idles pretty reasonably well though just sometimes when I started up cold it'll have a mess for about a minute or so and then it'll go away.. performance Wise it's hard to tell I just bought the truck the direct 10 with 264 rears in it to me it feels like there's no power but that might just be the truck normally

My international pro Cummins isx it won't accelerate, when I pull out it won't turn off engine but no accelerate, after I turn off engine and turn on back after one hour is accelerated with black smoke then black smoke go awey

Said Abdulle any codes on diagnostics? If the truck does takes a while to shutoff after you turn the key off it’s most likely the fuel solenoid. Easy to replace

Start by replacing the fuel filters.

Bro Now I had same problem last two days when I start is rough idle 5 to 10 minutes after that normal diagnosis shows there’s boost pressure

Emissions bullshit. If you want to buy a new truck engine go with the X15 Cummins though it ain’t a bad engine. Just that the emissions is bullshit. The tech is shit sometimes, the DEF fluid thing modern trucks have to take is just sad. Yeah it’s because they clean idle and don’t pollute. All this damn tech and emissions crammed into the modern trucks just sucks ass. I’m a Caterpillar engine guy all the way. In my opinion the C15 Caterpillar is the best fuckin big rig engine in the world. The power, the torque, reliability. Damn good motor
