A very poignent and dignified send off for a much loved and reveered Great British icon that is sorely missed around the globe. Now that QE2 has passed over into a new life as a luxury floating hotel I say "May God Bless Her and All Who Stay on Her!" I hope that continues to provide an unforgetable experience on board a true classic ocean liner.

No it's just the final time they will meet before QE2 retires this November and embarks on it's final voyage.

I know. Queen Victoria is a modified vista class cruise ship similar to the Holland American ships only painted with Cunard colors and decor.She is in no way an ocean liner. If they wanted to build a new ship they could have just built 2 similar ships like QM2 only a tad bit smaller. However they wanted to be quick & cheap about it. Honestly I love the Celebrity cruise vessels , the classy stylish interiors & design. They look and feel more like ocean liners than cruise ships.

Last time in service for Cunard Line? By the way, where is the QE2 now? Wikipedia said condition of QE2 is uncertain as of March 2010.

Yeah, the Queen Victoria is a ship too, neither of them deserve to be sold to Dubai. Queen Victoria is a great ship, as was the Queen Elizabeth 2.

ya they build in northern ireland that's one of the main reason's they wont give it back to the irish
