Luckily the driver had an iphone! In the end we went online, found the number of the pub opposite the church and the bar maid ran across to the church to tell them what happened!! It was a laugh or cry situation... I laughed ... Histerically!

Fleur, that must've been so scary!! I was in the car one day with our nanny and we had a blowout (luckily on a country road too!) but our problem was that neither of us had signal on our phones so we had to walk of miles to this school and ask to borrow their phone and then wait to get rescued. Scariest moment ever!!! Hope your back is feeling a little better this morning. ⛄️🎅🎄

Flat tire isn't your fault. It happens to everyone. I hate when people are condescending. Mike is there to support you in any situation and if he's forgotten then give him. Reminder . All guys need a reminder from time to time.

My da (who is a mechanic/sells tyres) always told me that a lot of the time blow outs are due to uneven wear on an incorrectly inflated tyre so always make sure you have it at the right PSI! And if you don't want to carry a spare tyre or even space saver in the car perhaps you would consider getting run flats? I think you can get them for smaller sizes now!

I always have a spare and was taught how to handle a blowout and change my tire. That is something everyone should know how to do. Plus they should know when to change them. Tires don't last forever. Mileage and temperature changes plus the pressure of your tire affect how long they last. This is something everyone needs to know.

Make sure to check your tire air pressure, especially when the seasons change. The PSI can drop in the cooler winter weather and leave them underinflated, which can lead to tire failure!

Having a significant other is so wonderful. It's easy to take him for granted sometimes but boy, when you need him, he's there and he makes you happy. By the way, I think here in most States, it's illegal to drive without a spare tire onboard. Good luck getting your car fix. :)

I thought it was here in the UK too! We normally have a spare tyre that is just a temporary tyre, much smaller than a normal tyre that you can only do a max of 50mph in. Didn't know that some cars only come with a repair kit and nothing else

Yes, same here. The tire is usually a temporary tire although sometimes the tire is the same as the tires on the car (as an upgrade). But my car has a temporary tire onboard. ;)

A few years ago we had a blowout on the motorway and were luckily just coming up to a junction so could pull off but it was the early hours of the morning on our way back from holiday. Me and my mum had to unload the car and change the tyre, Not a fun experience, but girl power all the way! x

Flat tyres are such a pain...I once had the worst luck and had not 1 but 2 flat tyres in 1 day, no joke! I got a flat outside somewhere I'd gone for training for work and called the RAC to put my spare on. My dad does car stuff for a living so I started driving to his shop to give him the old tyre to see if it was repairable and would you believe it the spare got a puncture too-a huge nail stuck in it! I am so paranoid now that there are 2 spare wheels in my car -1 where the spare's meant to go and one in the boot! lol x

Deffo not a vlog for those of use with vertigo/fear of heights, I would have had to shut my eyes in that lift on the edge of that tall building! I always go in lifts in shops with multiple floors, a lady in the local (5 or 6 floor) Primark died coz she fell down the main escalator section! xx

Last Friday i got my first flat tire. The only thing is, it was -31C!! It was sooo cold the tire was frozen and we couldnt get it out. After 2 days of being in a supermarket's parking lot, a towing company was able to pull it out. Definitely one of those days i consider moving out of Canada.

I got a flat tyre this morning after dropping my OH to work, on the way to do my horse!! Luckily my Dad taught me how to put the spare on a few weeks ago... I didn't even have my phone and it was 5.30am... The taxi driver that stopped to offer help was very impressed that I'd done it! :D Lucky you getting saved! x

How old are the tires on your car? Check all the others because I had a blow out on the A44 because the canvas was exposed...if ones popped any others might be going the same way! It's so frightening when it happens, hope you weren't too shaken up x

Blowing a tire is the worst! Thank goodness you weren't far away! I blew my first tire last year and i was two hours from home, in the middle of nowhere with hardly any cell phone reception, talk about scary! My fiance couldnt even come help me because it was so far. My car doesn't come with a spare tire either so I had to call a tow truck and they had to haul me back to town lol quite an adventure
