Wally Warbles for me took like an hour to ko with cursed relic (I don't remember which form and I don't actually know how long it took but for me it estimated to around that time from the time it takes to kill a boss and the amount of attemps it took)

I started playing Cuphead with my bestfriend while we were roomates and I moved out while we were stuck on Dr. Kahl's robot, we finally hung out and beat him today (he was the last boss we needed for Inkwell Isle 3). So now we're stuck on King Dice, and I definitely want to get the DLC once we finish.

Gooood run. Question: already in the beginning you fight on expert without completing the game. How is that possible?

There’s a glitch we use called the “fresh expert” glitch where, if you have a completed save file already, you load that save file first, go to a boss fight and highlight Expert difficulty. Then, back out to the title screen and start a new file and you’ll begin the game on Expert already.

Right when that part of the fight starts you jump with Chalice, shoot an EX, then press dash before your EX animation finishes. This puts you in an infinite roll state. You may need to swap weapons to get them to start firing again. As long as you don’t get hit, you’ll stay like that for the rest of the fight. It takes a little bit of practice to make sure you’re not too high when you start rolling because then it’s possible you’ll softlock and won’t be able to hit the boss. Once you get the hang of it it makes that part of the fight a breeze though!

How does one start a new game file on Expert mode from the get go?

On a file with expert mode unlocked, start a fight on expert and then exit to map. This saves that the fight is on expert, so on a new file or a separate file without it unlocked it will look like Simple and Normal are unselected, and if that shows up and you start the fight then it will be on expert despite it being a new file.

Quick question but do you use the Devine Relic, What do you think of the kings leap, that was a clever Strat using Charge shot for phase 2 of the salt baker fight to, I also like your Dodging skills Against Ribby and croaks.

I don’t use the Divine Relic at all; I just obtain it since it’s required for 300% completion. It’s actually a really great charm, but the fact that it keeps the weapon rotation aspect like when it was cursed makes it a little unwieldy to use in speedruns due to its unpredictability. I think the King’s Leap is interesting/fun, but personally I like Run n Guns better and was a little disappointed there weren’t any in the DLC.

No, because when you trigger the secret phase yes it brings you directly to the final phase, but final phase has 2x the health that it normally has. It winds up being slightly slower to do the final phase than it is to do the fight normally.

There’s a glitch we call the jump roll where (at this specific part of this boss) Ms. Chalice can jump to stop her downward momentum, use an EX attack, and then press the dash button while you’re still in the EX attack animation. This puts you into a permanent roll state where you can continue to shoot. However, you can’t use any EX attacks and you will return to a normal state if you get hit by any projectiles.

Yeah, the cursed relic randomizes your weapon between any of the weapons in the game (including ones you haven’t purchased yet), so that’s why you see that happening on a couple of levels.

I'm pretty sure there's a glitch where if you are hovering over expert mode in a previous save file, it carries over to the next one, meaning you're already hovering over expert mode despite not having it yet. The relic can be done in either regular or expert (I think)

Yeah I use steam with a controller. If you have a capture card on your PC you could probably hook it up and record full screen that way with some sort of screen recording program.
