I mean, Cuphead literally feels perfect for a cartoon series. Cuphead and Mugman are great protagonists and you literally have The Devil and Mr. King Dice as the villainous foils. Literally any and all of the bosses could quite easily be re-occurring side characters as well. Only problem is I do wonder if the prospect of having the literal devil in their shoe strikes in right out of being on a kids network, but the game is tame enough that I couldn't imagine it being on an adult network, unless god forbid they tried to make it adult and edgy. But then again the 90s got away with creepy weird demonic crap all the time, and honestly I do wonder if they could do it if they just went on with it and ignored the moral puritans who get a splinter in their crosses (whilst ignoring the delicious irony that it would be a show about outsmarting and beating up the devil on a somewhat regular basis.).

You're going to be waiting a while then. Studio MDHR signed a console exclusivity contract, preventing them from porting the game to PS4 and Switch. However, they did get permission to port it to MacOS and Linux, which is the reason why we're seeing this port. But PS4 and Switch are off-limits to them, unfortunately.
