[Cuphead] - Ranking All Ingredient DEATHS based on BRUTALITY!

We all know how crazy and evil Chef Saltbaker by killing these innocent ingredients just to attack us. But out of all these 5 killings which ones were the least brutal and which ones were the MOST brutal? Well you can find that out by watching this short however keep that in mind that this is completely my opinion! :D
Also yeah we defeated Chef Saltbaker however the Cuphead judges decided giving him community service for some reason. Not the best way to punish someone who murdered all those ingredients don't you guys think? (Atleast he didn't get to steal our soul lol)

Incase you're confused about this ranking , here is a detailed version of this ranking! 5 ) Strawberry [aka Gnome Berries] ; - This one is a pretty easy last place because first of all the Strawberries aren't even alive at the start and the basket gets out of the hook pretty easily because all Saltbaker does is squeeze the poor guy for a few seconds and then he lets him run away. Not much to say , this one isn't even really a death 4 ) Pineapple [aka Pineapple Mint] ; - This one was just prediction since the pineapple dude dies off screen so we don't really know how he died but considering that Saltbaker is throwing the pineapple's hair in phase 2 we can assume that he didn't let Pineapple run away like he did with the Strawberry basket. Just a prediction tho , a game theory infact. 3 ) Desert Limes ; - This one is kind of straight forward. So Saltbaker puts a few limes to the table then he slashes all of them with one knife slash which is enough to kill them instantly then dice slices them 4 more times before throwing them at the player. Now considering that they instantly die after the first attack it really isn't that brutal but that doesn't mean it's not brutal at all so they're in 3rd place 2 ) Sugar Cube [aka Icy Sugar Cubes] ; - This one is the saddest death of all of them because the Sugar Cube dude makes a cute sad expression right before Saltbaker literally transforms him into a million other sugar cubes after he hits him with the nail and the hammer. This is also an instant death however i think this is way more brutal than the last one so that's why it's in 2nd place 1 ) Dough Guy [aka Distillery Dough] ; - Now this one is actually brutal. First of all Saltbaker brings this poor fella to the table and then instantly flatens him using his rolling pin however he seems to be still alive. Then Saltbaker uses 4 Animel Cookie Shapers to basically take parts of him and turn them into magical Animal cookies that attack the player and then after all that crazy stuff he falls to the ground. This one is the only one where he doesn't instantly die and i think this one is the most brutal one due to that. Anyways this is my list. My list 5: pineapple’s 4: berry box 3: sugar cubes 2: dough guy 1: desert limes

Fun fact: there was actually an unused attack for the pineapples in phase one. Inside the games code there were refrences to saltbaker phase one "pineapple" and "pineapple_explode" there were also a few mockups. So apparently chef salt baker has a finished unused animation bending over, pulling a handle and throwing it directly at you (like breaking the 4th wall) so the bowl and the pineapple both would have faces. The bowl would look scared and chef saltbaker would throw him to the ground but the pineapple would act aggressive and trying to get out of his grip. So the pineapple would explode and about 12-18 sharp yellow spikes would shoot in alm directions (12 normal, 18 extreme) and about 5-7 able to be parried. After that some mints will fall from the ceiling. The explosion would also cause damage and take about half of the screen. If you try to load in this attack he would be stuck in the unused animation and your game would be softlocked. But I guess they changed it because it would been to hard or maybe because they havent done anything for the 2nd phase.

I never knew about that but that actually sounds pretty cool! I mean i think it makes sense for it to be unused due to the amount of chaos that would happen on the game but still that is pretty nice. Also by any chance do you have a video explaining or showing this unused attack? I'm actually quite interested in this.

Tho about the ranking, I think I'd switch place with 2 and 3. 3. The sugar because even if its brutal its still a kind of a quick death and 2. Because when the Limes first get cut in half they still show a face (and probably feel pain) as their blood/juice spills before getting cut again 6 times before they die.

I mean it might seem brutal because it is but since it's a very quick death for the limes they don't have the time to feel any pain since it's an instant death. In dough's case he literally gets flatened by a giant rolling pin and then Saltbaker starts making animal cookies using the dough so i think that's the most brutal way to go. However the sugar and the limes are pretty close but i feel like the sugar's death was more sad and a bit more brutal compared to limes so that's why Limes are in the third place!

Well i really wish it did but StudioMDHR said themselves that they're gonna work on other projects other than Cuphead so it's very unlikely that a new Cuphead game will be out.

I mean that might be a possibility however it's not really confirmed by anyone and i don't really think it's likely. Chef Saltbaker's whole plan during the journey on DLC isle was to bake the wondertart to achieve a great power so he wanted the power to himself which if he worked for the Devil he would probably reference him somewhere during his boss fight but he didn't. The appearance of The Devil and King Dice during the DLC was really Glumstone the Giant which was using puppets of them to attack the player and the secret Angel and Demon boss fight where the background was the Devil's skeleton. Honestly this is a pretty interesting topic to cover so i don't think i can fit all these theories into one comment however i think that Chef Saltbaker might have known Devil and maybe have ties with him but i don't think he works for him at all but that's just my prediction. Fun fact: the pineapple mint is actually a grenade (kind of) in the secret phase of the howling aces fight the doggos take the pineapple and take the metal handle off and throw it which then explodes and yellow spikes fly around. So guessing I would put pineapple in 5 because he probably just cut the leaves off and but still technically assaulted that basket full of strawberries (maybe they were the organs?)

Considering how violent and merciless Chef Saltbaker is during every one of his attacks on the ingredients i don't think he just cut the pineapple's leaves off and leave him alone but we don't see how the pineapple really dies so it makes sense to put on him as last place. About the strawberry , yes he was definitely assaulted by Chef Saltbaker but i don't think the strawberries were really his organs. I'm not sure about Cuphead logic but normally if that was the case the basket would be instantly dead after all the strawberries have left him since it's not possible to live without organs but this one is a logic question so i can't give an exact answer on this one. While making this list i have thought about this for a while and i think it's entirely up to the person on this one!

Well i noticed it when i was playing the boss for the first time and i thought it was a very cool detail that they added for the actual final boss of the game. I mean we spent all that time beating the bosses and seeing all the things we have earned in the boss fight was pretty awesome for me! :D

I honestly don't know how he got off that easily! My best guess is that StudioMDHR wanted to make a good ending where everyone got along etc. but i think it's kind of weird that after murdering all those ingredients and attempting on murdering the trio he only had to serve community service then boom good Chef Saltbaker guy and good ending.

The limes kind of die way too quickly to feel any pain so even though they go off with a brutal death i don't think it's that bad as the dough which literally gets tortured by Saltbaker for a few seconds before dying so i think the dough deserves first place for that alone!

I mean kind of in some logic but still the thought of being flattened by a giant rolling pin then getting tortured by animal cookie shapers before dying sounds way more painful then a quick death like the limes face!
