Glad to see you do another video tackling the secrets! The cactus girl actually tells you which boss you've missed fighting as Ms. Chalice because doing so gives you a reward (just like the Pacifist challenge)! You can tell exactly how many bosses you fought as her by looking at the tally marks around her campfire.

Here’s a bit of a tip merg, you need to beat a certain number of bosses with the cursed relic equipped. Afterwards you unlock something

I was gonna say "just say its [number] bosses" but i searched it up for the number and it literally just says "after defeating enough bosses with the Cursed Relic equipped" but i also figured out the more bosses you beat the more positive effects it gives so thats neat

@@SuperDZ555 Each bosses give you points and you need 16 to unlock Divine Relic. But the points each boss gives is different per areas. For example Inkwell Isle 1 bosses gives 2 points each defeat while Inkwell Isle 3 and 4 gives 3 points. So you can't really say defeat [number] of points, since it's up to yoy which bosses you defeat. For example if you only defeat Inkwell Isle 1 bosses you need to do it 8 times to reach 16, while if you only defeat Inkwell Isle 3 or 4 bosses you need to do it 6 times

There are actually 3 more secret phases for bosses the first one is in the Root Pack where if you don't hit the onion it will activate a secret phase. The next is in Djimi The Great where if you shrink when Djimi is making a puppet copy of you in-between phase 3 and 4 it will activate another hidden phase. The last one is in Sally Stageplay where you have to parry on to the angels at the top of the screen using the parry hearts (you might be able to double jump with Chalice but I don't think Chalice jumps high enough) (another note you have to wait on each angel for them to go down a bit) that will activate the last hidden phase. If you want to get the rest of the charms in Inkwell Isle 2 there is a green trailer house thing near the die house and if you walk behind it it there is a secret coin then in Inkwell Isle 3 there is a stand by the stairs near Cala Maria's boss fight. The next one is in Inkwell Hell behind the dies to the left of the King Dice fight. The last one in DLC Island is behind the bakery which in order to get there you have to go behind the shop and go left until you go behind the bakery and get the coin (you can also go down in the area behind the shop for a shortcut) and I think those are the coins you are missing another one you may be missing is the juggler in isle 2 where you have to get 4 parries (which you can do the tutorial parries to get that easily) also 2 things you missed in your original playthrough there are rewards for getting A- ranks or higher in most bosses which you have gotten A+ on all so you could just talk to the fork in Isle 3 for a filter like the pacifist one. The last thing I will tell you about is in Isle 3 as well there is a gramophone and stereo and if you keep talking to each of them you will be able to freely change between both types of music and that is the end of my very long comment hope this helps.

There is actually another cool secret you missed. When you spin in place for a second or two, djimmi the great will appear and when he appears he gives you double health until your next win. You can do this up to three times.

Fighting a bunch of bosses with the Cursed Relic will eventually turn it into the Divine Relic, Which is probably the best charm in the game If you wanna do it without much challenge, do Isle I bosses and if you can, Isle II bosses, and if you can't find anymore, do King Dice, as each Miniboss there Counts as a boss defeated for the Relic, so it makes it pretty easy to obtain.

Yo Merg. There are more things to find in the game if you're up for it. There are more secret phases in other levels outside of the DLC. Those being in Botanic Panic if you don't attack the Onion at all. Another is in Pyramid Peril if you shrink when Djimmi scans you. And the last one is in Dramatic Fanatic if you lower the platforms in the first regular phase. There is also another filter you can get by beating every boss level in the game as Chalice, (this sounds harder than it is, as you can just play them all again on the Simple difficulty and you'll be fine.) After doing this just talk to the cactus on the DLC isle. The cactus keeps track of how many bosses have been beaten as Chalice by writing the numbers down around the campfire. There are also two other filters unrelated to the DLC that you can activate in the visual options menu. You unlock one by getting the Pacifist Rank on every Run and Gun level, and another by talking to the rich looking guy on Isle 3 after getting good enough ranks on every main-game level. The Cursed Relic can be turned into something else by beating enough bosses on at least regular difficulty with it. With the Cursed Relic you can gain more HP during a battle by parrying things. These bosses don't have to be DLC. And then last but not least there is yet another challenge that the King will let you take on. Just talk to him and select the "Kings Gauntlet" option. There are also a few things I didn't mention like secret coins located around the map and what not, as well as achievements for doing things such as getting 9 HP during the King Dice fight, and defeating a boss on the DLC isle without taking out any of its minions. You probably won't see this, but I felt like writing this anyway, in hope that you might :)

You need to beat 7 bosses with the cursed relic equipped Merg! Then it turns into The Divine Relic. The divine relic has the power of if not all of, most of the charms in the game all coming into effect at the same time. So u can insta parry and heal from it before invisi-dashing away to swap weapons!

You missed it, if you don't attack the onion he'll spawn a secret part of the boss. Also with Sally Stageplay's fight if you land on the angels you'll change the story of the play. Also also in the Djimmy the Great boss fight if you turn small before he makes the Cuphead puppet it'll also give you a secret

Just finished the video, this is probably the last cuphead video, but I thought I’d mention just like the howling aces, there are some secret phases in the main game like not attacking the onion in the root pack, lowering the two baby platforms in sally stageplay, and shrinking before djimii’s 4th phase. Also beating all the bosses with chalice (oh btw you have to do ALL of them, dlc included) you get a new filter visual. Last thing, if you beat all dlc bosses with the cursed relic equipped (saltbaker as well) you will get the divine relic, same effects as cursed relic but you have almost all the charms, base hp, and all the weapons. (You can do a certain amount of main game bosses if you can’t take the challenge)

Actually it doesn't matter what bosses you beat it is just a certain amount of bosses each boss will give you "points" when you beat them the higher difficulty the more "points" you get so if you do all simple it would take longer than if you do all expert or regular though you could do a mix

if you didn’t realize, only the mama dog takes damage in the secret phase. also, if you press l and r (or an equivalent) at the same time in front of a mausoleum or the angel devil fight you can respawn them.

hey merg, i see you "enjoyed" the secret phase in doggone dogfight, so why not tell you how to get more sacret phases (idk the names of the bosses): in the vegtable bossfight(phase 2), dont attack the onion in the gnienie bossfight(phase 4?), become small when he... "reads your mind" to create a puppet in the stage play bossfight(phase 1), perry the hearts to get on the platforms(you actully did it in your og playthru, it was just on the elier version) thats all im gonna say, im not gonna spoil what they are (: (sorry if bad english)
