Since it seems no one mentioned it, in Joyous you’re playing as the creator of Lord X. Lord X is talking about killing the creator because the creator obviously wants to eventually put an end to Lord X’s story at some point but Lord X doesn’t want his story to ever end that’s what he means by saying “I would give anything to continue existing as Lord X… it’s a shame that that ‘anything… has to be you….” as for why he says it’s a shame I guess because he wouldn’t have gone for him had he never had the desire to end Lord X’s story or some sort of admiration for his creator or story teller.

Hey Merg, here's some more little tips, this time for Flowey and Asgore: - You can use your pellets and vine when underground, also, spamming your pellets to the max when Frisk/Chara is trapped in a vine is really effective; - Holding the taunt not only will give you more power but also make the cooldowns even faster; - You can load the save file (saves position, healt, items and attacks on the map, but not the power or the cooldowns); - You don't ever want to run towards Frisk as Flowey unless you're at the edge of the map, otherwise you lose distance and the fight sill be longer and harder; - You should use the DNA Flames either defensively (run away and spam some, not all) or more offensively (don't stay still, run towards Frisk/Chara and spam some, not all, then you could also pass Frisk/Chara and switch from offensive to defensive); - You can get the orange attack by just holding down 1 of WASD (if you hit Frisk/Chara with a orange attack, either run away or spam as many attacks as you can, they'll be unable to move for a while). Little bonus tip for every character in general: always try to see if attacks change when staying still, moving, in bad time and when held down

So... the way I understand it (Based on what I could gather myself) is this "mirror BF" a BF from an alternate universe where he lost GF through an accident. The reason he looks like this is... because that's how he actually looks. BF is a tall and lanky guy apparently and is drawn that short and child-like to show his innocence (According to the FNF creators or smth), so this is a BF who lost said innocense. And he looks that rough because... he lost the most valued person in his life, so of course he stops caring for himself. And the lyrics are sad, because you can understand them in two ways: Either Yourself (How this alternate BF is named) talking to his original creator, who passed away due to cancer, wanting him to be proud of what he (yourself) became, or it could be Yourself talking to his GF. Alternatively could it also be Yourself talking to BF, trying to get approval and praise from the only thing that remains of himself: His self-worth/reflection. It makes the song really powerful, especially as you can see this pained smile during the lyrics where he is clearly close to tears. The title also has a sad explanation: Based on the thumbnail of the song on YT is this apparently the nickname Yourself's GF gave him (It has "She called me" in the middle between "Silly Billy"). So "Silly Billy" is actually refering to Yourself. Also, some other details you can find: - The mirror reflection at the start having roughed up hair, eyebags and open shoe laces - Yourself's hand shaking during the lyriks until herself (Name of his GF) appears as ghost, hugging him. - Herself joining in on the vocals after she appeared briefly - The notes of Yourself being inside the mirror behind Yourself (Which ironically enough mirrors your notes being behind BF) - There is only 1 single yellow note (2 if you count Yourself's notes too)

yourself was made by divide originally before he died. another person found his sketch and decided to make a mod of it. hence why shen yourself sings it says “ill make you say how proud you are so stay awake” hinting that if divide was awake he”d be proud and that he cant die yet hence the “stay awake” part

Merg! Just in case you haven't heard of it already, you have to try out Animal Well! It's sort of a metroidvania, and it is INCREDIBLE. Also it was the first game from videogamedunkey's publisher "Bigmode", but it was developed entirely from scratch by ONE GUY (Billy Basso) I've played a couple hours of it. I'm starting to get into the secret stuff in it, and I immediately thought of you, I think you'll absolutely love it! Sorry for the long comment btw
