The Asian Games, also known as Asiad is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. the first Games in New Delhi, India, they organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).The Games are recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and are described as the second largest multi-sport event after the Olympic Games. FYI All of the dancers there in the beginning was about 1600 girls from 18 senior high school from the capital, Jakarta. 5 months of training. This event is held every 4 years, and this year takes place between August 18th and September 2nd

The Asian Games is actually like the Olympic. But the countries that participate are only from Asian countries, like China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Uni Arab Emirates, etc. We held Asian Games once in 4 years, so it's like Olympic again. And this year the host country is Indonesia. Maybe you don't know much about us, Indonesian. We are a south-east-asian country. Hai... the choreographer is an indonesian artist. That includes more than 1000 junior high school on that dance (that change clothes that you see)... not more than 3 months they prepare for this opening ceremony. Also 2 years to prepare everything (including the infrastructure in jakarta also Palembang) a short time to prepare everything and we proud of it. Thanks for see... Also for Mr. President... OMG, you have to know he is the most loveable person and the most hardworking person behind this too. He believes to the milenials on our country that change this country sooo good. Asian games is asian biger sport celebration, and that dance call Ratoh jaroe dance from Aceh province, there has 1600 dancer from hight school student around Jakarta, they take time for practice 5months... for your known in Indonesia we have 700 races and language that's why the show always change the dance , language , and culture thanks for your reaction...

Asian Games is the second largest sporting event after the Olympic Games. The same as the Olympics it take place every 4 years. There's also Asian Winter Games. It was first held in New Delhi back in 1951. Last year was Asian Winter Games which was held in Japan.

Hi there, to answer your quetion the opening dance called Ratoe Jaroe dance. It is a traditional dance from Aceh Province in Sumatera Island. That dance performed by 1.500 girls from 20 high school in Jakarta (capital city of Indonesia). Ratoe Jaroe is one of the traditional dances taught in almost all schools in Jakarta. About the costume, the secret is on the costume it self. It designed by an accessories designer name Rinaldi Yunardi. This man is really genius. Some of its accessories have been used by hollywood celebrities, such as Madona. Thank you very much 😊
