Cupra Formentor - Detachable towing hitch installation

Hello, I like the way you work, and the video turned out really brilliant. I'm facing the same thing, only with the difference that my Formentor is already prepared for the trailer hitch. My question to you is that you had to do it after you reconnected the battery Did you have to pay attention to anything because of the training or did it just work without any problems?!

I haven't disconnected the battery. With care, you can tap into any existing wiring without issues. The worse case scenario, you will blow a fuse. Everything works without problems, yet, the main difference between Cupra setup and mine is that Cupra setup will detect the trailer connection and won't trigger the parking sensors when back-up. Mine, beeps when I back-up.

Be sure to seal the screw holes at the back, otherwise water will run into the trunk !!
