Towbar Installation (Including Wiring / Electrics)

In this video we carry out a full towbar installation - including wiring up a universal electrics kit - covering each step of the job in detail. The end result is an extremely useful addition to our car (Nissan Qashqai) and the total cost was just £138 ($176 USD)
DIY Towbar Installation Steps:
1: Remove Bumper
2: Remove Towbar Mounting Point Covers
3: Fit Towbar & Brackets (Keep All Fasteners Loose Until Everything Is In Position & Threads Engaged)
4: Torque All Fasteners
5: Fit Towbar Electrics
6: Test With Trailer Lighting Board
7: Reinstall Covers & Bumper

Good job! Just wondering if it’s possible to just change the 13 pin socket thing? Mine got water in it and caused it to short I think. Basically it caused the cars reverse lights to go on permanently, even with engine off and locked with the key fob. I had to just disconnect it
