Just tried the cupreata. Love it. I love Ocho anyway but this emboldens the flavor with rich sweet cooked agave and no woody/barrel notes. No smokiness either. Thanks Hombre.

be interesting to do a 4 bottle cata, including an ocho blanco, to see how the blanco changes. Do you know if the curados are coming off any ff the terroirs? If they take an ocho blanco from any year and then make the infusion? Not sure if I am getting my point across

All of the agave used at both La Altena and Los Alambiques comes off the same terrior. You can taste the difference in agave when you try them. Especially if you are familiar with Mezcals.

Are you going to offer these three expressions on Ferment and Still? What’s going to be the price point

They are all up on Ferment and Still now..

Did not know you sipped tequila with an additive??

Everyone does. Putting a blanco in a barrel is adding additives in all truth. In this instance its adding agave and if Carlos Camarena is doing it with Thomas Estes and its honoring agave, I am all in.
