This character is so versatile I may need to pickup 3! As you mentioned, the teams this figure would complete is the main attraction for an otherwise OK job by the ML team. I must commend the ML team who are responsible for the digital portraits as the faces on these new figures is phenomenal. Such as yourself I would appreciate a bigger buck but that is not a factor in not purchasing it.

When I got my new Cap I used an old Cap to make a custom almost exactly like this figure. As I was getting ready to throw a nice matte finish on him, Hasbro revealed this guy. Guess that 10-12 hours of work saved me like 30 bucks. At least mine has a nice matte finish.

I'm gonna wait for maybe a classic Mockingbird before getting this and Julia Carpenter Spider Woman to build out a West Coast team on the shelf (running low on space and want to stick with essentials at this time). I wish his shield was larger, though, as I remember in the later West Cost comics his shield was drawn HUGE.

lol, I wrote a whole lot on my phone and it just (as often happens) clicked off somewhere and the whole comment I had written was irretrievable and disappeared entirely. So, with this figure being a 5, it must mean the ratings are more focused on what comes with the figure and the value of the figure and accessories or something, because the Quake/Maria Hill got an 8.5 or something. I think that when it comes to a figure, what is most important to me is how it appears in a collection and displays, how much I like the design choices, and how much I like the character and how it is represented in particular. So even if it had lots of different head sculpts, I wouldn't necessarily care if I didn't like the head sculpts or didn't care about the design and didn't like the character even or couldn't think of any good ways to use the figure or imagine fun things about the character. The Quake / Maria Hill figure might have a little more sculpting, but the overall visual design (as authentic to the character art as it is), isn't as striking to me or eye-catching and empowering or fascinating to me as the bold and contrast heavy U.S. Agent design. On a shelf, between the two figures, the U.S. Agent is more likely to catch the eye with the reds, and white on black, and the character's head sculpt has a lot more character and personality to it than both of the female head sculpts in the Quake / Maria Hill set, which don't look like very strong or interesting characters overall (to me). This figure comes with not all that much stuff in comparison maybe, but I think it would look more striking and interesting in any display, it has more "figure charisma", and inspires me a lot more, plus the character is interesting and has a lot of potential, which the face sculpt also lives up to without needing to stretch or exercise the imagination all too much to superimpose better ideas on something pretty bland seeming, like I'd have to do with the Quake / Maria Hill figures, sculpts, and designs. I guess I just don't care for that costume all too much, while I much prefer U.S. Agent's costume. So, these ratings might be more useful to me if they clarified what they are based on exactly or what they take into consideration and how they are being decided. You could even add more ratings to separate information about how much you actually like the character, how much you think the toy represents the character, how much you like the actual design and artistry of the character as a toy, as a character in art with only the art or design being the factor and not the toy versions or the character's story or personality being taken into account. So if U.S. Agent represents the modern baseline for the rating system, does Quake / Maria Hill still get as high of a rating, and what is being considered for that rating to occur? Does it really inspire or seem as stimulating mentally to you or aesthetically and does it display as well and in a display enhancing way so much more than U.S. Agent, or is it such a high rating because of having two heads and various accessories that you might enjoy? Omg it almost deleted my comment again, even though I'm using a computer now, argh! I really can't stand how finnicky KZbin seems to be for me. I'm very eager about this figure and have great ideas for the character. The character is exciting for me, but also doesn't have many uses, it is very specific and stuck as "just that" mainly, and can't be used as various other things as easily as Quake / Maria Hill can, but I also don't feel too excited or interested in those and didn't care for their actual face sculpts or expressions, they just seemed kind of lack luster and devoid of much personality and character, not as devoid as some other Marvel Legends and Hasbro releases but I like the characters to look a little more unique and special or charismatic and expressive and expressing something. The Quake / Maria Hill S.H.I.E.L.D body can be used for any spy-fi, military, or sci-fi type set, even Star Wars type things, but it just doesn't do the trick for me, which is why I'd like this rating system to be elaborated upon, clarified, extended, added to, or at least somehow made more useful to me. I think that it will possibly get more useful as the ratings keep growing and getting added to. If you can also keep track of the ratings on a list, you'll be able to use that information later for video content and even potentially adjust ratings and see how they might change over time. I think U.S. Agent and Blue Marvel looked really excellent out of this series, and that Blue Marvel is probably the most overall useful due to having a lot of possibilities available for the head, the body, and the vest, while still being pretty eye-catching or interesting as well as it is, and the head sculpt of that figure can be used in numerous various contexts and as lots of different characters, and the vest can be added to different characters as a fun accessory, the costume works in almost any setting and set except maybe generic fantasy, but it might even work for that with some adjustment or additions, or even without such. I also pre-ordered the Thor figure from this set, which can work in numerous ways as well, but most particularly in fantasy sets or science fiction potentially as well, besides being Thor or some kind of Asgardian or Marvel character, hero or villain. I skipped everything else, for various reasons, but the main reason is always that they just didn't look good enough to me or amuse me enough or I couldn't find enough use for them to justify purchasing them happily. For a character as exciting, with a nice bold design, that was well made and sculpted, that looks striking in a display, that can fulfill a lot of collectors interests and desires and complete their teams, which is useful as a standalone character, hero or villain, as compared to Quake / Maria Hill, I think the rating of 5 vs. Quake / Maria Hill's 8.5 might be a little confusing for me, and also unacceptable! So here is an idea (and you can even end up keeping these ratings), but for another type of video that might be very fun and amusing and make for more video content and comedy opportunities for you, you can do a VS. series where you pit two figures against each other for comparison and discuss why you like one more than another exactly and really plumb the depths of your psyche to see if seeing them face off against each other and tested under different circumstances or put up in different display settings ends up changing your mind! I'd like a Face Off Figure Vs. Figure episode for U.S. Agent vs. Quake / Maria Hill with all accessories, and then you and the regulars, patrons, and audience can all also figure out what they might like to see for other videos which face off figures against each other. There can be Scarlett Classified vs Lady Jaye, there can be all kinds, but especially ones where people (or maybe just I) object to what you may be suggesting! If you had Kang still, you could make Kang face off against orangey Hobgoblin if you had that still, Frogman should face off against someone also, since that is a pretty beloved figure for a lot of people. Boba Fett vs. The Mandalorian, your Megatron vs. Optimus Prime, what looks best, who you like best, why, all of that would be of tremendous interest! Mojo vs. M.O.D.O.K.! I am pretty certain the viewers will love it, or just the only viewer left, me!
