yeah exactly, this show is brilliant because it encapsulates the paradox of everyday life. like larry is painted out to be the antagonist most of the time but in reality, hes, for the most part, the most sane person there. like here, if the barber had just been honest with him, this wouldve never happened. larry just refuses to be lied to and abused, like all of these entitled people are accustomed to@@grassbackyard3825

@@hughphil I don't think that's what they were going for at all. I mean for starters, you're really stretching those two things in your attempt to connect them. But more importantly, that's not even really Larry David's style. Nor is it the style of the show. The butterfly catching bit is one of his typical narcissistic and absurd tangents...totally unaffected by the situation at hand and completely random. Turning it into an analogy about "capturing gays" (whatever that means) removes that randomness, and therefore removes a good portion of the humor.

Maybe I’m missing something here, but my last haircut was $7.25 and it was a damn good one, too. Gave a 2.50 tip, whole thing cost $10.00. Are people really paying $75 and $150 dollars for a haircut?

Nasim Pedrad shows herself terrific at dramatic acting here. Totally different than her SNL persona. More evidence of how good the recent female cast members of SNL have been. Kristen Wiig, Nasim, Vanessa Bayer, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, Melissa Villasenor - all incredibly versatile and beautiful to boot.

I disagree. Sure she may be more feminine than her partner, but if she wants to be the groom, let her be the groom, it obviously means something to her. Though clearly, she had some kind of problem with her being the groom, they should have had this discussion ages ago if they agreed to get married.

Larry’s genius isn’t all that sophisticated. He probably just writes down his immediate reaction/impression to about everything he encounters and thus has near unlimited ideas. His genius comes in giving voice to the one’s relatable to the largest audience.....and of course.....making them ridiculously awkward. I’m pretty confident most people’s first impression, subconscious or not, would be the exact same as his about the bride/groom choice. Most of us wouldn’t give it a second thought, or even recognize we thought it in the first place. He just makes conscious what most people ignore or filter out.
