I picked up an old dry sink along the road. After I finish the wall clock, I want to turn it into an industrial style speaker enclosure/DVD holder/TV stand. And put it out on the front porch, and try to sell in spring.

Use plugs instead of dowels if you want the holes to hide even better. End grain absorbs differently. Amazing transformation!

Thanks for the tips about aligning the drawer pulls accurately from the top drawers to the bottom. Also, I liked the tip for using a straight edge as you are screwing on multiple drawer pulls across a drawer.

And thank you for showing the Makita routing tool, one of my brothers got my Dad's routing table and I've been a bit a sulky, but this will work way better for me! 😃 I like the copper, it lends a warmer look. The top looks amazing!!! Nice color choice! If you ever get frustrated 😠 with different wood colors, you can always try a toning spray, it works. And yes, you probably undersold yourself, but I totally get your reasoning.

I like the finished project, however, why didn't you add a bottom to the dresser?

Lumber is 3 to 4 times higher then normal right now so I try to use what I have here on hand for most my projects. Here right now a 1x10 8ft pine is over $40 with tax. Pieces to do a bottom would probably add $100 my cost. Plus I like using what I can left over here so nothing goes to waste over buying new.
