Here I am researching on Ancestry looking for photographs and documents on my Family, so when I see that briefcase full of picture's and memories it break's my💔. If you don't want it people give it to someone within your family to keep it going. 🙁

Absolutely. My adopted cousins burned all the family photos years ago when both their parents died young. Guess they were angry, but the photos were not only of them - my aunt had charge of all the old stuff too. So sad and frustrating.

I do genealogy work for free to help people find their birth parents or ancestors. Seeing that briefcase full of photos, breaks my heart it was being thrown away. I would love to find pictures of my family I never knew about until I did my DNA and learned how to solve those mysteries.

The letters P & G are the initials of the owner. I believe Gray (obit CC Gray died Saturday) is the families last name. Great u were able to hook up with that artist on the last suitcase. Maybe try someone else who would be able to give you a follow up on the contents.😁

Like other people have said, all of those family photos broke my heart too. 1933 high school photos. That means that they were born around 1915 which was during World War 1. Someone just threw out things from great grandparents or even great-great grandparents. I sure wish I had more things from my parents and grand parents, but I have nothing from great grandparents.

20:43 - the picture is a picture of the trainees from the Great Lakes Naval Station during World War 2. This was a very inportant training base whete they were training naval aviators to fly off yhe carriers.
