Mike the price of copper is at $4.72 per pound. Gold went down and cute oil is now $104. Per barrel. Happy days are here again ! Mike on the microwaves if you take out the microwave tube there are big round magnets that are very nicely more then scrap will pay.

We only go once a week , to this one neighborhood, on Sundays, for scrap. Yesterday was crazy ! We scored on a good sized load , took it to our storage unit to sort it on Monday. We almost made it home and got a call to go pick up another load. We didn't know it would be a whole load. So we dropped it off. Didn't even make it home ,to eat supper. Got another call ! Got another full load. People are doing their spring cleaning !!! Just gonna have to open the can of kick butt scrapping!!!!

Took my first load to the scrap yard. Had some sweet extruded aluminum they paid me a pretty penny for. You can get more in a car than you realize.

Scavengers are awesome! I actually started something similar in my apartments laundry room. Someone put a large wooden table in there. So whenever I went to the food bank I'd put the extra food in there for folks. Then I started putting other things in there & my neighbor puts food in there too. Then other people started leaving stuff for others. It's nice.

You can sell the dishwasher racks and the control board on Ebay. I've done it for years. Just gotta clean and touch up the racks if there are some small rust spots.
