Good grief! He has the best manners of anyone I've ever heard (including many adults--and me, frankly lol!). How did his parents raise him to be so humble, appreciative, and compassionate? Will they raise children for me? The way he talks about each of his family members astonishes me. I love my family more than anything in the world, but we're certainly not perfect; it's like he is sort of living in a different world than I am: some kind of ideal dream world. It is fascinating how much all of us have in common and yet how many differences there are in our cultures. I hope that as people start to use the internet more and interact with people from other cultures consistently, the differences will fade rather than ignite dislike. Just through listening to Dimash, I have learned so much about the Kazakh history and culture.
@mariaemiliac4 жыл бұрын
I had the same feeling at a point, from other interviews... Like he's living in a different world. But it can only be great tolerance of what's bad and great mutual appreciation and gratitude for what's been received... Because there is no such thing as a perfect relationship, or perfect people... It really humbles me, and makes me think I should work on my character. A lot! ✊✊✊😁😅
@ginaverso4 жыл бұрын
I have read that Kazakh’s is a family oriented culture. One of the most important things for them is family. When I say “important” I mean it. They tend to spend time with their relatives, like in celebrations (parties) or long dinners. They also worry about building relationships and being hospitable and people can appreciate that in everyday life or business, for example. (That’s just info that I read on the internet, but if I’m mistaken, please correct me).

Lily Kupidon That’s exactly how clans work! I like this analogy: they see him as part of his clan, but in a national sense. I wish I could be a patriot about my country as they are about theirs.
@meghanmacqueen51574 жыл бұрын
@Lily Kupidon I would love to agree with you, but while I was initially welcomed with open arms by most dears when I discovered Dimash a few months ago, I have since seen some pretty hostile words between dears or towards people who are doing reaction videos to Dimash's performances. I've seen people accusing others of being "fake Dears" and not liking Dimash as much as they do. I commented to one of these people that it isn't a competition, and they were simply furious with me. It's sad, because as I've said before, if I didn't love Dimash so much, it much actually turn me away from him and his music. Plus, I don't think he would approve of some of the rude comments some of his dears have made towards others :(
@ginaverso4 жыл бұрын
Lily Kupidon Oh, definitely yes! I’ve been in fandoms since few years now and we always are like a large family clan. But about Dimash’s, those words are different (fandom, family and clan), it takes a whole different meaning because of him and his country’s history.

Lo que me perdí Dimash. Es que te conocí este año. Y de inmediato amé tu música y tu voz. Ahora te miro y te sigo por tu página oficial. Quiero que sepas que soy de Argentina. Y que amo el pop y el lírico. Imagina emcontrar los dos estilos en uno. Cayeron lágrimas de emoción. Las mismas que sentí por Michael Jackson, Freddy Mercury, por Pavarrotti, Maria Callas etc... Dios te bendiga a ti y a tu querida familia. Un abrazo gigante ❤❤

¡Hola Dimash! I have to thank Daneliya Tuleshova for helping me find Dimash. I had heard her sing in a video compilation and it stuck with me. She sang "Rise Up" in that video. Weeks went by, and it popped into my head through a dream. This happens to be the morning of my birthday. I saw a video come up titled "Two Voices, One Nation" and Dimash was on the video singing "S.O.S." and I was immediately shaken to my core. I believe this was an act of Divinity. The same day, I got a call from my Father that he was having brain surgery in mere minutes. He has been diagnosed with Epilepsy, because of Grand Mal seizures. Dimash and Daneliya were an absolute great comfort to me. It is hard, because I live hundreds of miles from him, and because of the Coronavirus, I can't visit him. It isn't a question, but a sincere thank you! 🥰💖💕💞🥰

Silva, please do not call Dimash a 'guy' Dimash is a gentleman
@Silva-qasqirsmile3 жыл бұрын
@@oliviawutam Guy is an expression of kindness, a feeling of closeness. But that expression does not belong to my language, and I do not have another in English, as I have in my own language. Gentleman ... yes, he is definitely a gentleman. But all of this is just terminology that everyone experiences differently. You need to stick to the essence of what someone is writing, not to unimportant details. And you can feel very well how much love and respect I expressed in the comment.
