The reason for the SunRace cassette is they moved back to the older(cheaper) hg freehub. Which means you can't run a newer microspline cassette, which means no 10tooth. You have to swap the freehub body if they even make one that will fit(haven't been able to find one yet) or swap the hub or rear wheel. I just picked one up yesterday.

Yes that’s true, but a pretty minor gripe. If you want a super premium 12s cassette for HG you can always buy a Garbaruk.

Is this on all colour ways, as when I look at the other colours they seem the have an slx cassette. Also the bike is advertised as slx drivetrain so does it have slx cranks.

@@rccars2472 my bike has mt510-1 cranks. Only slx components are shifter and ream mech(the most important parts. Other than the cassette)

Ooooooo. That looks sharp! So, did they lengthen the chainstay to get the extra room out back, change the angle on the seat tube, or just slap a slightly smaller profile tire on it? Seems like making the wheelbase longer would take away some of the playfulness and make it slightly harder to pull a manual. Now I’m curious about back to back testing 🤔

That issue was resolved 2 years ago now. They’re very sturdy, and many very popular brands come out of the exact same factory these do.

Nice package but the brake levers on the tektro are pretty hateful, TRP slates or Shimano brakes are so much more pleasant to use...
