The Curia Julia, commissioned by Julius Caesar in the last years of his life and completed by Augustus in 29 BC, rises in the northwest
corner of the Roman Forum. This new building, the meeting place for
the Senate, replaced the old curia built by King Tullus Hostilius, on
the slopes of the Capitol overlooking the Comitium.

The Cvria Ivlia is built is built over the old Cvria Cornelia , itself built over the Cvria Hostilia , which is where the ancient tribes of the Lativm vowed fealty to Romvlvs and where the Senate first congregated .It is essentially the Birthplace/Cradle of Latin Culture and Civilization .God , I yearn to be there .

Julius Caesar was assassinated in the Theater of Pompeius Magnus. This building wouldn't have been completed yet.

He was assassinated in the Curia of Pompeius, Area sacra del Largo Argentina. This building you see is called curia Julia and it stands on Forum Romanum.
