Just had a pancreas transplant a week ago today! Had a living donor kidney transplant a year and a half ago. Its the stangest thing having blood levels in the 80s every time I check it. So beyond greatfull for the decision the doner made to mark that box on his licence. A greatfull thanx to surgeons like yourself.

Thats awesome! My 11 yr old daughter was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She's very sad over it so maybe she can get a pancreas that would help her mental health immensely

So happy for you brother. I had my combo kidney/pancreas transplant. All of my labs are now normal. A1C of 5.2 and creatinine of 1.1, I’m so grateful to have had these operations and for the person who Dante’s their organs.

I am in tears. Not one of me physicians EVER informed me of this procedure and I’ve been a diabetic for 32 years. I understand needing to be disciplined with eating to keep numbers as normal as possible, but this would have been a GREAT incentive for me.

Good for you for your discipline! Listening to the video, it sounds like the transplant last 10-15 years, so after 32 years, you might have already had two!

While watching the video, it gives me hope for my mother's condition. my mother is a diabetic and now her kidneys were already damage that she is undergoing dialysis. And as much as I really love to bring my mother and be treated at you hospital, Philippines is far from your place and no enough money to be there.

Aww i feel you and empathize with you my 11 yr old daughter was just diagnosed with type 1 this march of 2020 . It would be great if you both could get that done. My daughter is getting depressed over it it's been 3 months going on 4 since she's been diagnosed. I think it's hitting her really hard now
