Thank you for this review. I've been seeing this a lot on Amazon and have been tempted to buy due to the price.

I have been thinking of getting back into using clay to make buttons so this video provided a lot of great information. Me making buttons vs. your fairy house hmmmm, you win! Thanks for another great video.

I've found a lot of the affordable polymer clays, Mont marte being the one I have access to easiest, are sticky and overly soft. I started with Mont marte figuring it'd be good practice for when I could afford the Fimo and Premo, but it was so soft and tacky the skills I needed to use it were often irrelevant when using better clays unless I had done something like adding too much liquid clay.

Thank you so much for this video, I'm a beginner looking to get into polymer clay and I was wondering how long it took you to condition it. Thanks a lot again!
@CurioByBSpokeDesigns3 жыл бұрын
This wasn't too bad, perhaps 10 minutes at the longest - it is quite a soft clay

@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns Great, thank you! I think I'll buy it to start experimenting

@@CurioByBSpokeDesigns Sorry, another question: how exactly do you know when it's conditioned?
@CurioByBSpokeDesigns3 жыл бұрын
@@IAmKrow That's a really good question. It's very difficult to know but I go by, if you roll it out flat and then fold it, there should be no cracks.

I'm a beginner and I got this set for Christmas. I sat down to make some earrings but it stuck to basically everything :( Do you have any recommendations for tools that won't adhere to the clay?
@CurioByBSpokeDesigns4 жыл бұрын
I've heard a few people say that it was sticky. You could try a light dusting of cornstarch on your tools to stop them sticking.

Also can use a baking clay mat to work on and use to bake clay on
@downtime86stars173 жыл бұрын
Let the unbaked clay sit on a piece of paper for a few hours before working with it. The paper will leach out the excess oils that are usually what make polymer clay sticky.

My clay was not flexible and it broke. Hmmm
@CurioByBSpokeDesigns3 жыл бұрын
I don't think it is as flexible as most other polymer clays.

Just use a converter like the rest of the world has to. Could you imagine if the they had to note out the weight and cost according to every single countries individual methods?
