I remember back in the day when guitar gear forums were constantly trying to find dirt on Josh because of his faith, and Devi Ever was desperately trying to get his pedals pulled from guitar shops. Good to see him still holding onto the Gospel.

Not only an awesome creative mind in the pedal industry, but has used that platform to be an encyclopedia of knowledge to all the guitar nerds like me! 😂 His humble and fun approach to his business is so rare! Glad it’s working so well for him. The Lord blesses the humble!

Josh is my favorite:). He got me into pedals instead of multi effect units. He is responsible for my pedal obsession…:) and I dj weddings to fund the hobby… and can be hard to get up the next morning to play at church. I have… probably over 12-15 JHS pedals and love them all… the Kilt and morning glory and pulp + peel, never leave my church board… Now the Good Vibrations, is becoming a stable on there as well. univibe is an underrated worship effect …. Ended up getting a unicorn too…for less board space, but doesn’t have the mojo of the good vibrations. …. Colour box .. amazing. … o and all my jhs fuzzs(that I don’t use at church but think I got a part that the mini foot fuzz is going to used this Sunday..) And the JHS customer service… Had a panther cub break after 7+ years…. They fixed it beyond new…. Josh is a good person and so happy to see him talk about his faith.

Everyone in these comments not knowing Josh is a believer is crazy because I remember when JHS was under constant heat and cancellation attempts for the very fact that he was a Christian (and especially for attending IHOP back in the day). Grateful for his steadfast witness in the face of constant financial and social pressure from people who decided to hate him simply for him being who he is. As a Christian in the specialty coffee industry, his example has been so appreciated.

Although I call myself a Christian, I'm really sceptical of many who put their selves out there as such.
