People are dicks, most of those people still have that “ it’s a drug “ point of view stuck in their heads resulting in hatred towards others that use, grow, manufacture cannabis & cannabis products. One good example is my 68 yr old mother who looks at my plants an asks why do you grow this….its not legal….mother we are in a state where it’s legalized. Her: that’s going to make breathing difficult….me actually your wrong, a pulmonologist states cannabis is a natural bronchodilator which allows more air to be breathed in, cannabis has no negative effects on your lungs, cigarettes give you cancer cannabis kills cancer. Her response I guess I’ll stop arguing with you about cannabis.

He was just saying THC edibles are not as predictable. With alcohol, you feel it almost right away and know when enough is enough. THC Edibles can take an hour before you feel anything and can fluctuate. You think the high is over but then it comes back later..lol

It wasn't anti-cannabis; it was just that the effects were delayed, which is true! I drank a six-pack of THC drinks, and it was great, but an hour later, I was wrecked! Lol wrecked with a smile on my face but wrecked however lol

THC drinks kick in a lot faster than edibles and are way more predictable. If people don't understand measuring doses in grams, maybe their math skills are the problem, not the drinks.

Ppl go to the bar and decide how much they wanna drink. Thc drinks are pretty quick acting and just like alcohol it takes ab an hour or two do have affects diminish once they kick in

It's much harder at the moment to gauge THC drinks because we've demonised weed for decades. Only a few people know how much 2mg of THC feels like compared to, say, ABV in alcoholic drinks.

They didnt explain how its not safer then alcohol. Sure, people might have a bad time and some might even have a panic attack, but ultimately they're going to be okay with no lasting effects. Alcohol can literally kill you. Like the guy said, personal responsibility.

Drunk driving kills an has killed for many years. Ive never heard of high driver killings. Not saying you should be ok high an driving. My opinion stay home drinking or getting high. (Am i trippin)

When I use to consume alcohol. I made it a point to always take a taxi to and from the bar. Sometimes I was still sober, but most times not so it was worth spending the taxi money instead of lawyer money

They probably mean you green out. It's true, some people can't handle that much otherwise they'd have a bad trip & puke. I wouldn't say it's overdosing though, as the word has been used to describe a type of death.

It's unpredictable only because people aren't as familiar with THC measurements and their effects. You just have to experiment to get an idea of how it will affect you. Start with 2mg THC or so, go to 5, then maybe 10. Not all at once, on different occasions. Most people will find one of those amounts to be right for them. All edibles sold in dispensaries have the amount of THC right on the label. Once you've found your sweet spot, it will only take some basic mental math to make sure how high you get is predictable and reliable every time. Even if that means only drinking half a can, or cutting a gummy in half. But I don't know where this guy gets off saying alcohol is safer. It's just factually not, by basically every metric.

THC drinks tend to hit a lot faster than eating edibles. Like, in 10 minutes fast. You'd know before you finish your drink lol. Stop the fear mongering.

Yep! The THC drinks are awesome. I love getting to have a sort of buzz and still waking up fresh the next day, unlike after having alcohol. That "doctor" was really full of it.

Drinking one right now. Sipping it and calling it good for awhile be smart about it and you’ll be ok. Didn’t know you could overdose on thc. I just get sleepy and go to bed.

Well, an overdose would just be much more than you feel comfortable with, e.g., getting too high. You can't physically overdose in the traditional sense, where you risk dying. But it's always good to start low and go slow, to avoid biting off more than you can chew.

Thc has killed many people. Look up thc and sudden death. It is terrible for your heart especially if you already have heart disease. I had a recent trip to the er after trying just a few sips of one of these beverages.

So if I haven't smoke herb for say 30-ish years and I go get me one of these soda pops with weed in it how messed up am I going to get? Is it comparable to smoking a joint to yourself? Or would it be more like smoking a blunt to yourself? This fascinates me... the kids are grown and gone and I loathe drinking by myself and the local bar closed years ago but I would like to get a little loopy on occasion and I'm desperately trying not to start smoking again. This bottled dope drink sounds like it might be what I'm looking for.

Not very. They make me tired, even the ones marked as Sativa. Put it this way, it's kind of like the solid rocket boosters are ignited and you feel them shaking but you aren't going anywhere. There is no liftoff. Just the faintly familiar come up period that never develops further. Least, that's what they do to me. I miss flower the most but not legal here in Florida.

Absolute BS. The drinks are great. I suggest “Nowadays”. I had to quit drinking alcohol and stared THC drinks on the suggestion oh my doctor. Glad I have a good doctor and not this quack.
