@waldenwildlifewatch That's horrible. Ugh! 🤦‍♀️🙄 So many people are ridiculously clueless or even crass about human-wildlife conflicts this bad behavior needlessly creates. Hope all those critters are alright.

No sound unfortunately. But get THIS: an earlier camera did have sound and FB struck my private group for copyright ONLY for the sounds of raccoons snackin’ on dry kitten food! IN-SANE!!!

Amimals acting like humans for once . Plenty of food for everyone raccoons opossums and cats . Yet abundant and energy +food gives the animals something to fight over just like people .

Well the raccoons seemed fine with sharing. It was the possum that got aggressive and didn't want to share.

If y’all look closely again it appears as tho the raccoons got a little too close and sniffy so the possum reacted. One way for the young little raccs to learn we suppose - give possum its space! Thanks for commenting!

The opossum is just posturing. An opossum will not attack anything; they are very vulnerable so they have to make themselves seem more frightening than they are. It’s a defense mechanism that they will display, even if they feel comfortable, and the raccoon could care less. No one is causing anyone to fight because these animals will get to know each other if they are fed in a regular area. I have a nice group of opossums and raccoons at my home that come every night; and they live together as well. They also get along well with my cats. Also, I think your statement about humans is incorrect. If you look at Maslow’s “hierarchy of needs,” you would understand that being FED allows higher orders of socialization because the individuals don’t have to compete for food. There’s so much food here (in this situation) that there’s no competition necessary- you get that?

@@tiffanyclark-grove1989 I feed cats and the opossum shows up but they eat separately or wait for each other . The way I know it's the opossum he tips the food and water bowls on the sides when he done eating .

@@georgewbushcenterforintell147 They are definitely bowl tippers. They just have to put their hands on the bowl while they eat❤️ And my racoon likes to tear down my american flag that I have near his water trough. Sometimes he actually CARRIES it into his den😄
