Apres, that's the perfect video for me! I'm stuck in an Armenian village for about three months already having a great experience. I heard most of the verbs already, very practical to review them^^

:D what a hilarious situation. It is probably hard to imagine a weirder place to be during a global pandemic :P But at least you can use the time to improve your Armenian ;) Always look at the bright side!

@@CuriousChrischannel I subscribed to your channel more than a year ago when I was about to go study in the Caucasus. First I wanted to go to Armenia but it turned out to be Georgia where I lived since last year. And Yeah, thanks to the funny coincidence that the border was just shut down while I was here I got the Chance to actually live here for a while and learn some Armenian😄 It'll turn out as a great experience looking back!

Barev dzez. I am from Hungary, I also learn armenian. Shnorakalutyun. I have one question: what does the word txerq mean?
@CuriousChrischannel4 жыл бұрын
It means boys ... I guess you have read it in the context of the current conflict. Armenians ofter refer to "txerq" when speaking about soldiers.

Really sweet feedback. Thanks sooo much you made me smile so big. Comments like yours are such a great motivation to make more videos! Since I work full-time in consulting the only time I usually have for videos is during the weekends and therefore it would be really hard to take care of Instagram at the same time. But thanks for the idea and I will for sure think it through!

Thank you for uploading such a helpful video! Just a question, How would you say the following? "to laugh at him" Is there a preposition needed?
@CuriousChrischannel3 жыл бұрын
Hey to laugh at him would be ծիծաղել նրա վրա. The last word would be վրա meaning onto over upon. Hope that helps you.

you seem too fast for a beginner to the listener. I recommend speed x 0.75 to really get the pronunciations. Good videos by the way. Thanks
@CuriousChrischannel2 жыл бұрын
Hey I tried to speak slow but yes maybe even that is too fast for a beginner. Thanks for the hint with reducing the speed 😊
@tonyr.23212 жыл бұрын
@@CuriousChrischannel No problem my friend, You can make a note on your video description that audience can reduce the play speed to .75 if they feel the video path is too fast for them.

My best friend of almost twenty years is Armenian from Yerevan. We are like brothers . When learning Armenian is learning the letters and writen words more important than learning by hearing the language and its translation in English. What would you suggest. Thank you for sharing, Pedro from central California
