Regarding COVID vaccine, first thanks for not being afraid to ask the hard questions. I’m in the Army so it was mandatory for me to get it. I love my country and would die defending it, but before joining, I’ve never wanted or needed to take even the yearly flue shot and was completely fine. I feel after taking the COVID vaccine, I’ve experienced migraines that I’ve never had before. In response to your question - I think the way the pandemic was handled created so much damaging. People were forced to do so many things against their will, so many people suffered because of the ridiculous measures that were enforced. And we can now see that countries who took a different approach, such as Sweden for example, did not do worse overall than countries that implemented draconian measures. Oooo that’s a great question! God works in mysterious ways! I got out in the military 2019 before I got out that’s when I surrendered my life onto Him seriously again. And when I moved back to my hometown. COVID happened! And I personally felt called not to get it. But if I would’ve stayed in the military it would’ve been forced on me! So I’m happy that God called me out of it.

So happy for the return of Curious Mike!! Both my 76 year-old mother and I have a history of working in pharmaceutical research, so we are very familiar with the normal approval process/timetable for new drugs. There simply is no substitute for time. It takes time to test drugs through multiple generations of different animals (ex. mice, then larger mammals, eventually non-human primates, then VOLUNTARY human test subjects). These studies are required to be consecutive, so if there’s a safety signal in rabbits, then testing stops and they go back to the drawing board without harming larger mammals or humans. Knowing all of this and knowing that Moderna had brought exactly ZERO products to market since 2010 (all safety trials were failures), this was a hard pass for our family. There was a lot of pressure from doctors, employers, schools, etc., but we stood firm. It was the best decision for our family. We all eventually got the Vid, but it was no worse that a typical cold for any of us.

I did not get the vaccine , I have no problem with people who did , I only could do what was best for me. I felt like I needed more Research on it. My dad died from Covid and he had all 3 shots but he was in a retirement village and it was required. Still don’t know if the vaccine helped or made it worse , I guess we will never know . As of covid questions, my aunt wasn't vaccinated and had very hard time with her lung in a hospital and had to use that breathing machine. She's fine now. The other family vaccinated fast after that and noone was ill as severe. The numbers show that more people who got hospitalized were unvaccinated, and more people died from covid if unvaccinated. People have been to resilient with fighting against smallpox, polio, malaria after the vaccines have been invented, and so many peoples lives were lost before them so I think vaccine is a testament to the humanity and it's ability to work around difficulties the nature throws at us

Hey Mike that vaccine thing was wild. I'm a final year med student and we had to get the vaccine if we wanted to do our rotations at the hospital in 2021. And they told me if I didn't take it, I would take longer to graduate. The pressure was on (felt so stressed and I don't like people pressuring me to something i don't want to do). But God was with me. I showed up to my rotations and no one asked me for proof of vaccination even onto this day. The NBA must have been more pressuring, how did you survive?

Curious questions: what's beyond the universe? The universe is continuously expanding, possibly I personally think way beyond that, but what exists beyond it? I personally believe consciousness is God. We are all a part of God exploring Himself, and the big bang is God's realization of being, the translation of Yaweh the Hebrew name of God is "I am", but that being said all going out us the event horizon of the "big bang" my question is what Mike thinks lies beyond it? Interesting to hear that you were home schooled. All for safe vaccines but the emergency use authorization route makes this vaccines even more troublesome than other vaccines. Definitely should not have been mandated and the censoring of alternate perspectives and data than went against the narrative or was at least a question worth asking was not a science based approach. You have to be willing to hear alternate information to be able to make informed decisions.

I loved listening to this podcast!! I love the perspective you have on life. It truly is a remarkable thing being able to listen and understand others thoughts on life! To answer your last question of the video, and I know I’m probably going to be one of the very few people who have this opinion, especially living in Denver myself- but I personally decided to not get vaccinated. It was hard to stand firm in my personal beliefs while at my old job because like you said, it was crazy pushed upon us. My gut feeling was telling me no and to wait it out. I feel like the vaccine was rushed and not truly tested and tried, you know? But yeah, everyone at my old job received the vaccine excluding me. And so I was the only one required to wear the mask and take weekly tests, while everyone else was able to walk freely. With that being said, I was blessed to not get sick the entire time Covid was going around. I received a blessing when I was 15 years old and in that blessing, I was specifically told that I would be freed from any serious illness or injury. And that blessing was put to the test that year and a half. I do understand the other side to receiving the vaccine and respect those who decided to get it as well. But in my personal opinion, I’m thankful I didn’t get it and stood firm in what I believed in.

I respect and envy the fact that you chose not to get it. A lot of us in my field (healthcare) are forced to get it or lose our careers. I honor people either way regardless of what path they took because we were all doing the best we knew how while the “Trust the science” experts were literally lying to us! (New cover up evidence released by Taibbi and others just this week smh) There are protocols to help reduce / rid the body of the spike protein that your teammates with regrets might wanna look into if they haven’t.
