I have been there. It does have some the most unique bus stops. I found it quiet and quite clean too. The parks were insane. A truly unique experience.

Curitiba is a pearl! There are other very interesting cities in Brazil, out of the main " touristic " path worth visiting : Goiania, Cuiaba and Joao Pessoa are three examples! You are going to be " surprised"! Cheers!

Great video showcasing my home city. Just one small thing, at 3:55 you said that the park had an Amazonian vibe, but that's not how the Amazon looks/feels like hahaha I've been there as well and it is very different. I think what you were trying to describe was the Atlantic Forest, that used to cover a large portion of Brazil's south/southeast coast and now it's limited only to a few areas. The Atlantic Forest is a lot less hot, humid, and usually holds smaller trees than the Amazon, which is almost 3000km away from Curitiba.

If you want to have another surprise go to Vitoria, Espírito Santo. This capital is one of the best capitals to live in Brazil and it has one of bigger urban mangrove in the world. The capital is a coastal city, but the mountains in near from Vitoria.

Não se compara a infraestrutura de Curitiba com a falta disso em Florianópolis, sou curitibano mais moro em Florianópolis, a falta de infraestrutura é um gargalo para o desenvolvimento de Floripa, está a anos luz atrás de Curitiba, Brasília, que são capitais planejadas, bom mais a natureza de Floripa é maravilhosa, amo demais, mais não deixa de ser uma das melhores cidades do Brasil para viver, tanto por segurança e qualidade de vida. Alias no inicio do video ele diz "uma das mais verdes ou a cidade metropolitana mais verde do mundo inteiro". Creio que Floripa seja a Capital mais verde ou uma das mais verdes do Brasil, nem arrisco afirmar que seja a cidade metropolitana mais verde. Agora do mundo?! Duvido muito que Bali, Phuket, Phi Phi nao sejam mais verdes!

@@Grey18887 eu ate pesquisei pra saber direito. Tem pelo menos 3 forma de entender esse "verde". Ecologica/Sustentavel Arborizada Natural Acho que Curitiba pode ser considerada a capital mais "verde" do Brasil no primeiro caso, (do mundo nem a pau!), e limpa, organizada, segura e tem boas praticas ecologicas. Parece que Goiania e a cidade metropolitana mais arborizada do pais, no caso com ruas e avenidas com alto numero de arvores plantadas nas calcadas. Quanto a vegetacao natural acredito que Floripa seja a CAPITAL mais verde, nao a cidade mais verde e muito menos do mundo. Ps. Um colega foi pra Manaus pra um projeto da empresa por 1 mes, disse que viu mais mata nativa entre o aeroporto de Fpolis e o bairro dele aqui do que o tempo todo que ficou em Manaus.
