The “dragging” is because the silicone top grabs the hair to keep it in, you have to squeeze the ends to kind of open them up so it doesn’t squeeze the hair until it’s all in!

I have used these for years - I use these all of the time to curl my daughter’s hair for cheer competitions and they work great! They save so much time in the mornings when we have to get up at 5 am. We only use hair spray and the curls hold for days. I pick up a section, spray with hairspray then put the curl firmer on. When it doesn’t reshape itself, I start at the scalp and gently wrap it around my finger to reshape. To avoid pulling, squeeze the rubber ends until they make a circle. The 2nd hook is really helpful for us because she can be loading a curler on the hook while I am putting one in her hair, which saves time.

Don’t use hairspray, use a good gel (a lot of it). Then you scrunch the crunch out and your hair should be soft and hold the style. I have natural curls, and this method helps me keep my frizzy curls stay awesome right through to wash day
@IAmSuzyQ4 жыл бұрын
@@KG9551 Right? That's a great idea! My hair is super long and bone straight, so curling it has always been a challenge, even in winter. And I've never used gel because I didn't like the feeling of crunchiness it gives...and I had no idea you could make that go away! Plus, I've been a nurse for 20 years, basically wearing pajamas day and night, and rarely ever wearing make-up, so I've gotten used to not making myself fancy...but it's time to make a change. Thanks so much for the tip! Take care, Rosetta! ✌️💜😷

Suzy Q Rosetta Drone is completely right, I would just add, use it when your hair is wet, not damp actually wet. Also use a antifrizz product with a strong hold gel, I recommend flax seed gel it’s lightweight and b reaks up easily to a softer result. Last but most definitely not least when you go to take it out COAT HANDS WITH LIGHTWEIGHT OIL, that’s very important, and coil each curl around your fingers when take them out. It will help smooth out any frizz that came from taking out the curl former. P.s get a silk scarf to wrap it up at night and it’ll give you frizz free curls for days.

I think a big part of how much she struggled was just because of the length of her hair, too. It goes pretty smoothly if you just hold the silicone at the top open while you're pulling your hair through, but hers is too long to do that, and she had to use both hands. Most people have shorter hair so it isn't as much of a problem. :)

Lol when it says “this side up” it’s referring to the open side of the hook, not the actual hook end 😂

I hold the hook with the opening facing up when I use mine. I think her hair was catching the inside of the former, causing it not to auto reshape. She may benefit with a friend assisting. Her hair is just so amazingly long & I feel that's why she was experiencing some of the issues. But her hair after...omg gorgeous!!!!

I love watching you bc I really trust your opinions and also bc you’re the only one I’ve found who also has super long hair. Unfortunately for me, my hair is about 40in so sometimes these products still seem like they work for me, but at least you can give me a MUCH better idea for the practicality of me getting some of these products.

Bunny: If there's ever a guy with a mask in your life, pick that one. Hannibal Lecter: Muffled smile noises. Micheal Myers: Happy stabby noises Jason: Happy drowning noises Seriously, I think you'd do better just rag-rolling your curls than that new-age torture device. 💙🍀😁

Out of the three I have to choose Hannibal. He's highly educated in mental health, enjoys preparing unusual cuisines and wine pairings, and appreciates the fine arts.

@@brandiruble2987 I have to agree, plus his mask is a lot more functional than the others. The eyeholes alone on that Shatner mask would be a pain for Michael to see anything. No wonder he moves so slow. 😆💙

I Stan Christine from Phantom of the Opera, she is such a beauty icon for me, and you’re right WHY did she choose Raoul over the phantom!?!? He loved her and was the vocal coach that GAVE her that wonderful voice in the first place. Moral of the story Christine is beautiful but does not make good life decisions.
