seriously...as many curls as you want as long and tight as you want, plus the wrapping back over the curl keeps the ends in and frizz down...for the cost of an old bed sheet/towel/tshirt.... Have you done curls just around a headband or something similar? When I do that I will wrap the top sections of my hair as close to the center of my forehead and then once I finish wrapping my whole head I push it back onto the crown of my head. It helps loosen up the hair (so no bumps and easy sleeping) and also gives me a ton of volume. Maybe your redesign should include a couple strips more at the front!

These are a good idea because they keep so much moisture in your hair but inevitably, the bath towel fabric is difficult to dry, so it hinders drying quite a bit. I've used the OG bath robe strap method of just doing each half of your hair wrapped around that robe strap and it works well. Still has a similar look to yours. Kinda retro perfect silky waves.

Interesting variation on a rag curl. You can skip the headband and cut long strips of old cotton fabric ( tees work well). Exact same method but when you twist up you tie the fabric ends together or use a bobby pin. Love you, Bunny!
@meganh46754 жыл бұрын
I would avoid that awkwardness at the top by seperating all my hair into a top and bottom layers section. I would leave the bottom section under the band, but lay the top section over the top... if that makes sense. Like put the top half in a bun, leave the bottom half down, put the band on over the bottom half, then let the top half down over the band. Then you could use the top pieces on the device to wrap the top layer, then the bottom pieces to wrap the bottom. Since the top layer would be over the band, you will be able to wrap the hair closer to the scalp and also it wont be squished down and wouldn't dry leaving that flat look.

You could section off the top section of your hair, then when you put the device on, put in on so that the top section of hair yourlve separated sits above the device and the rest of your hair below. Then carry on curling as before. I recon it would do the trick :) xx
