I run a small business, and I would NEVER treat a potential customer and influencer the way they treated you.They wanted to clear the air only AFTER you made that video. I understand that they were frustrated and upset that someone is selling counterfeits, but that blame should lie on the counterfeit seller. They kept speaking of unnamed safety regulations, so perhaps they should've made a video about what exactly makes these knockoffs unsafe. That would have yielded better results. Now they're in the middle of a PR nightmare that could've been handled in a much more timely and professional way

They kept throwing out that they are a 'small company' and is struggling to deal with the impact of this but most youtubers who deal with copyright claims and stuff like that are usually just 1 person. At least they have a small group of people to help deal with the issue whereas a youtuber sometimes has to go through this by them selves or hire help. Sometimes I question some peoples use of copyright and just the way they run stuff in general. Plus who knew that you could copyright someone because the 'product is not safe' and 'was not produced by their company'? There is NO WAY you can keep other people from creating some type of cheaper version of the product you make. No matter how hard you try someone will always copy someone else's idea. theres a scam in the patents sistem,,, while they claim to analyse if the patent and product you want patended exists already - by magic- before they conclude, your product goes out in the market under someone else's name. The way to garantee you had a product before someone else is posting a signed for package to yourself and not open it unless a judge says so. Use at your own risk, but like you said, no heat is being applied. So no harmful vapors. You're not drinking from them. So don't burn them or drink from them and you'll be fine. Lmao... So the reason they reach out is because of the backlash. My stance on that is, tough... You make your bed, lay on it. Let the third party deal with it. They should have known this was a possibility by the way this 3rd party company is handling it. After all because of this you get a strike on your channel and loss of revenue. How it was handled is unfair. We KNOW those other bootleg brands are made the exact same way but it's cheaper because they didn't spend a dime on Marketing. Go after the bootleggers...not the people who spend their money on the product. You see they likely felt it was a win for them that they got a huge KZbinr video taken down.
