MissKenK...I would like to say you and your hair tutorials have been a blessing in my life...I have been on this natural hair journey for about 3mos.now...did a big chop...I had no idea that really didn't know my hair...have learned so much now just by watching you tube videos ...didn't know there was so much to know about hair...I discovered that I have low porosity and fine hair with a curl pattern I can a c...The LCO method works best for me and I think that is the method you use...but thank you so much for your easy tutorials and giving products you use...may God continue to bless you to bless others on the hair journeys...love you girl...you are awesome.

I use Argan rain argan oil. I apply it to the ends of the hair to lock in the moisture. It seems less frizzier, it retains moisture better and hair is shinny and well conditioned. I even use this on my face as a moisturizer at night. Great stuff.

shimmyshimmylipgloss I'm interested in knowing that as well. I love curlformers for the heatless stretch and I like the curls they produce, but I get a very soft hold that only lasts for about a day. I have to pin curl my hair after that. I use a foaming wrap lotion to set mine, which gives me a good hold when I do a roller set, but not when I use curlformers. What am I doing wrong?

Katherine Miller have you considered using something heavier? like a gel? to set your curls. where I'm from that's what we usually resort to using but it can leave your curls stiff. If not a gel maybe something not sooo heavy but similar..

shimmyshimmylipgloss Thanks for the suggestion. I have fine hair, so the challenge is to find a product that offers enough hold without wearing my hair down. I haven't had a lot of success with gels, but I'm thinking a styling cream might give me what I'm looking for.

I love the CurlFormers. Do they come in smaller sizes? I've recently had it cut into a short tapered style and it's much shorter than your hair.

Darlene Barnes Curformers do come in a short and narrow and a short a wide version. I used the shorter versions when my hair was shorter than Kendra's is now.
