Swavy curly Courtney did a video about the new zotos line and she reached out to the company in regards to the isopropyl alcohol. She shares their response in that video, so it's a great resource for anyone who is interested in the products but concerned about the alcohol. TLDW, it's a very small amount of alcohol and it's needed to activate another ingredient. They say that the quantity they use completely evaporates off, so they aren't actually required to list it, and it may be used in other products that don't list it.

Thanks Curly Susie!!! We're so happy you're loving our new All About Curls Lo Lather Cleanser! As for the Isopropyl Alcohol that's listed on some of our ingredient listings - there is a very small amount that's present as a solvent in one of our key conditioning agents called Behentrimonium Chloride. Because we use the alcohol as merely a solvent, it is present at a low, insignificant level, and does not contribute to hair dryness - nor decrease the moisturization and de-frizzing properties of the products.

Congrats on your pregnancy ...I wish you good health..As a mom of 7 it is a blessing.. I am 52 years old and you are one of the 1st people I watched on my 50th to decide to finally except my curly hair. It was a struggle at the beginning but after the 2 year struggle my hair is down the middle of my back and my curls look better and better..P.s. my hair was exactly your length now. Cut it to start the journey after 20 years of pure bleach and straightening... so for those out there as frustrated now as I was then it will happen!!!!

I just cut my hair short as well to grow it out healthy again. I miss my long hair but the damage was so severe that I know I made the right decision starting fresh! It's a bit shorter than yours and I still haven't gotten rid of all the lengths that have been colored, so I have a ways to go to reach healthy curls. But it's definitely worth it. Your curly videos are some of the first that I found to help me with some methods to get my curls back, so thank you! And congrats! I also love following your pregnancy updates.

Just wanted to thank you! I have straightened my curly hair for literally decades and only recently decided to embrace them. Your no nonsense, keep it simple & affordable approach has been a huge help to me. Who knew, I am just now learning how to care for and embrace the curls I've had my entire life. (I need to update my profile pic) And blessings to you, your family & new baby!

If you're looking for a new curl creme that works well and is affordable, try the Marc Anthony Curl Envy Curl Creme (NOT the lotion). My hair is a lot like yours and it has become a favorite! Not too heavy or too light, perfect for 2C3A.

Hey Susie, I'm so thankful for all of your videos. I started the CGM over a year ago and your videos helped me so much. I have tried store bought products like tresseme or Cantu or Shea Moisture. Then I started using DevaCurl low poo, wavemaker, ultra defining gel. Then switched to curl cream instead of wavemaker becausy hair felt dry and I add the foam. I had good results, but then it felt like the products changed when I bought new products. Then I stumbled upon Innersense. Wow! It has brought out my curls and I thought I was more wavy. I can't remember if you ever did a video on Innersense, but these products have changed my hair. Just thought to let you know to see if you want to try it and do a video 😁. Have a great day!

I’m so excited about my hair day! We have a small boat, and enjoy it over the summer here in humid Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. Don’t enjoy the hair at the end of the boat trip though.Today, I had great 2nd day hair, put a buff on bending over, and piled hair loosely in it on top of my head. My hair is shoulder length, so I wore a regular sun hat with a brim , over the buff and away we went. We got to our destination, I took off the hat and buff, and my hair was awesome! Took a few minutes to settle down, but with a mist of water, it looked better after a day on the boat in the heat, wind, humidity than when I left home 6 hrs before.

You look really great. It is so good to see you doing so well. Your hair looks fantastic. I like it short but it would look good at any length. I don't think you need to worry about the alcohol in the Zotos products. The company says they only use a small amount as a solvent during production and the alcohol is all evaporated by the time the products are bottled. They are not actually required to list it on the label but because they are an honest company they list it anyway.

I highly recommend the giovanni mousse/foam in a pump. It's mainly organic ingredients, no aerosols and no polyquats. So better for your hair and the environment. Also the pump container can be reused for liquid soap. I mix it 50/50 with water and it makes perfect soap mousse which makes the soap refills last ages and you need way less water for washing hands. Also easiest application for kids.

@@janetmacdonald9209 That’s a shame! I started transitioning back to curly hair last month. I can’t afford Deva products so I have found some products that I love (Not Your Mothers Natural (conditioner), Shea Moisture (Miracle Styler Leave-in Treatment) and Curls (Crème Brule whipped curl cream) and this gel now. I live in Florida where it is extremely humid. Plus I bleach my hair. I have VERY THICK, coarse hair. These products have been working like a charm for me-finally! I had been straightening my hair since I moved to FL 10 years ago because I couldn’t get a decent hair day. I did Keratin 1-2 times per year and flat ironed it all the time. It still looked dry, but I thought that was the best I could do. So glad I found all these videos! They have been so helpful through this process:)

I cut my hair off about 6 years ago to about 1.5 in long due to family circumstances and no time to deal with my hair. It was fine for about a year. Then I got bored and started growing it out. Now it’s almost to my waist. I love having long hair again. It’s more work, for sure. But I love it. I like anything Shea Moisture makes. I use the Cantu Hydrating Cream Conditioner ( its a keeper), As I Am Cowash. For styler I use either Andalou Gel (awesome product), Shea Moisture Frizz -Free Curl Mousse, Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Shea Moisture Co-Conut Leave in. Deep conditioner : Eden Jojoba Natural Deep Conditioner. I don’t like Deva Curl products at all. I tried Wave Maker and was totally disappointed after using it 4 times. My hair is 2C with some 3A. Best of luck to you. I really enjoy your videos!

I tried WaveMaker and it did nothing for my hair....in fact it made my waves fall out! I finally broke down and tried homemade flaxseed gel with aloe vera juice added (a very watered down version for my hair) and I am delighted with it. Good curls, good body, a ton of shine, and it's so cheap it's almost free.
