if you have wavy hair, or hair dries kinda straight but not really, if it dries "frizzy" then this wavy hair routine is for you!

This works so well for my hair type. I’ve started to just twist with my fingers tho for ease and it does the job just as well For me. Best part is day 2 looks just as good. When I used to scrunch my hair it only looked good on day 1- it turned into a lifeless stringy mess overnight. I think type 2 wavy hair just thrives on this technique, it needs to be put into these curl clumps and it naturally holds the pattern

Hi, I rarely see people with hair like mine !! My hair can be very wavy, especially at the mids to ends and isn't very thick, but also not too thin. It has a mid-porosity, yet my ends aren't as healthy as I would wish for :). Does anyone have any product-recommendations, that aren't too pricey and available at drugstores? Another question: What are the most important products for your routine? I wanna start with hair care a little, so it can be healthier. But since I'm not an adult yet, my mom has to pay for this kind of stuff and I don't wanna go over-budget. I'd be super grateful if anyone could help me :)) Have a great day or night and stay safe !!

Also starting my hair journey ! Just letting you know in advance if you’re not an adult or even a young adult, your hair pattern can change as you get older so try to get products for both wavy and curly if it’s curly now for example. I would research into dupes for the products if I were you 😊

@@jemimasyoutubee Thank you for answering! That's actually a good advice, everyone should follow I was never planning on buying the products hair-influencers use, since they're way out of budget haha. I just wanted to get a good shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, oil and one product to hold waves. My only goal is to have healthy hair !! Good luck on your hair-journey, sending love and of course succes :)

Hey that's super great that you want to start out caring for your hair 💗 I really, really recommend starting by figuring out your scalp type (for example dry, oily, sensetive,... keep in mind it can also be dry + sensetive or oily + sensetive at the same time), next your hair porosity (this is a bit hard to figure out, but generally healthy hair = low porosity, damaged hair = high porosity. Most people have low porosity from roots-lenghts, and medium-high porosity at the ends, where we often accumulate spliss or other damage.). Next I'd try to find out your wave pattern (just take a few, not only one!, wet hairs that fall out when they are still very wet from washing before you add any products and lay them out on a flat surface to dry. This way, they will dry in their natural wave pattern, and you can compare them with charts online. We use multiple hairs here, because we can have different wave parterns on our head. Once you've figured out your scalp type, hair porosity and wave pattern simply you can simply search (according to your results) "oily scalp low porosity 2C hair routine" and watch a few videos to get the general idea how to care for your exact hair type. You can also simply google ingredients that you should look for in hair products matching your hair type. A great video to start out your hair journey was recently uploaded by Dear Peachie's channel, it's very detailed and helpful and will make you less confused! I also really recommend checking out Abbey Yung's channel, she often recommends drugstotre products and actually cares about hair science and has a look at the ingredients, and explains what the ingredients do to our hair. I also really recommend Abbey Yung's videos about Silicones and Sulfates, since there are a lot of misconceptions about these ingredients online. Sorry if that was a lot of info haha, but I'm sure you'll figure out what works for you this way! Also, have trust in yourself and your own logic and judgement, sometimes products that work wonders for others just won't work for you and vice verca. Haircare can often be a lot of trial and error so don't be disappointed if you can't find the best routine rightaway

@@makkachin9614 Thank you so much for taking all of this time to write this haha, I appreciate it !! These tips are extremely useful for me and I'll follow them for sure, when figuring out my hair routine for 2b-c hair. I feel like especially identifying your scalp type can be pretty hard, luckily my porosity was easy to figure out :) May I ask what kind of products you use? I've been pretty unsure whether products like leave-in-conditioner etc are actually necessary or just used by hair influencers... Again, thanks so much for your comment, have an amazing day

I love this, your hair seems to be exactly my hair type! I have a question though, my curls seem to all curl in one direction. Does yours too? Should I follow the natural direction or is it ok to make them go backwards?

Try smaller sections around half the size, and brush out with a tangle tweezer or a wider brush maybe even the Denman. Mine is kind of medium to fine but I’m trying out the technique
