Curly hair tarantula spiderlings have emerged!

Our curly hair tarantula (Tliltocatl albopilosus) spiderlings have emerged! Here you can see them all clustered in their hide along with the female. We can't tell how many are in there at the moment but there could be in excess of 500! © Guy Tansley 2021

So many little Floofs ! Actually, breeding T. albopilosus is a long-term goal of mine. What they lack in coloration, they make up in inquisitive behaviour and a fantastic feeding response. When not in premolt, my albo is usually the first to catch its crickets. Everybody needs a Floofy spider in their lives. Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
