My cat Gus passed away 2 days ago. We found him when I was 4 years old. My childhood was a wreck I don’t have many good memories to look back on, I don’t have any of my old things or any lasting friendships. Gus was the only thing left from that time, when I was innocent, before life got hard. I’ll always love the memories of being little playing in a garden with a precious black kitten. We were separated for a little over a decade but when I moved states away to live with my grandparents again Gus was waiting for me, my old friend. I’m so happy that I got to spend the last 5 years of his grumpy old life with him .

She's been losing various functions over the last few weeks, and there's nothing that can be done.
