Hi Dani- may I ask if, your mother ever sees your videos or knows how you feel about her?! Has there ever been a behind closed doors conversation on setting boundaries or how you felt over all these years. I too have a ‘toxic’ mother/grandmother and it’s hard but I’d rather not connect every time I try I am reminded why I stopped. My sister has this mind frame that she is always right and her way is best and it makes it hard to get along with her. My adult kids have been testing the waters with me and doing things they know would hurt my feelings. I’m feeling a 💯 different emotions and none are healthy. I’m in a shi**y place with all of them.

I'm sorry you have toxic family as well. In all honesty, I lived my entire life pretending everything was peachy because my moms extreme paranoia of "what is everyone going to think"... Thinking about it now, it's SOOOOO exhausting! So now I dont care. Some days she pretends my job doesnt even exist and doesnt keep up with me, other days she blows so much smoke up my butt, I dont even recognize her. But I've seen her thumbs down my videos so I know shes one of my biggest haters. I have tried plenty of times to have the "I love you despite you not being the mother I needed. These are the ways you hurt me, this is what you can do now to make sure that doesnt happen again..." conversation a million times. Her response is always "if I was such a bad mother, why are you and your brother so successful?" There is not enough time in the world, or Jesus to make that woman take accountability for all the harm shes done, and continues to do. My last ditch effort was her last visit and I got the same answer. Most recently she accidentally sent me a voice text and to tell you the things she was saying to random stranger about me and my family... let me just say that shes blocked for now. She doesnt deserve a daughter like me. Therapy has helped a ton. Luckily I dont feel remorse or guilt for setting my boundaries to heaven. She doesnt deserve access to me. NO ONE that violates your boundaries or has zero accountability deserves access to you - even if you know what their heart sounds like from the inside. This entire experience has taught me the biggest lessons on how to be a mom. I am SURE that when (not if) my boys come to me and tell me how I harmed them, my ONLY answer will be - "I truly hope you can forgive me, and allow me to do better. Please tell me how I can love you better, and avoid hurting you anymore. I was growing up too, I was raising myself, and while it's not an excuse, I promise, I loved you through it and will continue to listen to you, and love you in the way you need me to love you. All I want is for you to feel loved and respected." Hope that answers your comment haha!

I feel seen and have been trying to make peace with blocking them and not allowing them to come into my circle just to stir the pot again for me to block again. It’s exhausting!! She has not been the mother I needed nor the grandmother my kids needed but is there for her sisters and family she grew up with. Is always sick and can attend anything for us but shockingly feels better when there’s a family event on her side. She is missed out on so many golden opportunities. I have always been the one reaching out to her. My phone never rings from her to me. My sister is another story. We have always been on and off. This is the first time we have been off in a while we don’t see Ida eye with our adult children and recently had a conflict about something. Her child did that she is saying he did not do a block them as well. My nephew had the nerve to call me and act as if I was a friend or child on the phone instead of talking to me like a grown adult I had to hang up, my grown children went behind my back while they are visiting back home and saw them. That hurt me after everything was done and said. My oldest daughter has always been my best friend but recently chose some hurtful words when everybody’s against you. You feel like you’re the rotten person and you’re the one who’s doing everything wrong I feel like a monster, but I know that I’m not I’ve always been supportive and there for my kids and have always expressed how much I care about them and how protective I am of them May a bit of bearing, but it’s because I care so much about them and their well-being but I’m putting a lot of effort in and not getting anything in return aside that my marriage isn’t the best either it’s had so many ups and downs and like you and Parker we have a lot of disagreements on him meeting my love language and constantly having to pointed out we’re currently in marriage counseling for the third time, but I’m losing all hope and emotion I hope that there is a pot of gold the end of the rainbow. Thank you for taking the time to share what you have been going through and it’s terrible and I truly feel for you, but I also agree with everything that you’re choosing to do to protect your sanity and family and how you are making change for your kids to not experience what you felt. 💜 Life really is hard. I truly appreciate you!!! So it doesnt matter if you leave or come back a million times! In fact, most times, it probably helps bc I'm sure you have some ads that pop up. The only thing I meant by length of watching is that most people click out of my vlogs around minute 12. So it could mean two things 1. People are absolutely over my crap at minute 12 and jump ship never to be seen again LOL 2. Or people get interrupted. But hopefully remember to come back. I think it's YTs way of saying, if you have something important to share, do it within 12 minutes. I would just hate to edit for a million hours and no one ever watches like 80% of the video LOL! But so many of you made the same type of comment, so that really helps! As long as you guys come back, I can happily keep em long!

Dani, you don't know me but I hope you know just how proud I am for you. I havent even watched yet, just saw your reply to the pinned comment. It's heartbreaking how desperately we want a relationship with family and it just feels like nothing you say will ever get through to them. You can fight, cuss, scream and it will get you nowhere. At the end of the day they take even more from us and force us to build up more of a wall, the one WE wish didnt have to be there at all. We'll be made to be "the bad guy" but you are NEVER wrong for putting yourself and your family first. I am so proud that you are strong enough to know when it's time to step back and look forward, protecting your peace. You don't deserve that, but life is unfair sometimes. The fact you are able to turn your pain into being a better mama yourself tells all anyone needs to know about you. They are blessed to have you as their mama! Just wanted to add this in- in case you don't hear it enough- you are doing great.

lol Dani! i failed mommy survival on my first trip that was just my little one and me. Our flight had a layover so I drained my magsafe charger before we even landed. I thought, it's totally fine, I'll just charge my phone in the rental. Nope! It only had a USBC outlet 😅 I got to our airbnb the old fashioned way using signs and a map

OMG!!!! You must've felt so nervous! Growing up remembering life pre cell phones, I dont know how we did it! It's basically our remote control haha! You are so brave! The first time I travel with mateo as a baby, was the most catastrophic dumpster fire known to man! I will have to share it with you guys one day LOL! But you sweet friend MADE IT!!! You survived! And dont do magsafe. THEYRE DUMBBBBBB! They look cute, but dont charge fully, take forever to juice you up, AND god forbid the climate isnt just perfect bc the MFer will stop charging! Oh no! I hate sticky pits! I cant with creamy, moist, or sticky pits haha! It feels like you put water on, and then it disappeared. It's super crazy! The scent doesnt even linger. Now, it's not an antiperspirant, so if you get sweaty, thats still gonna happen.
