I just graduated from Highschool a few months ago, I live in my own dorm room and everything. But man I honestly really miss high school. This song reminds me of my senior year prom. It was the only prom I ever went to during high school, I kinda missed out during my junior year. But honestly that makes it way more special, and this song just really conveys those things I was feeling before/during/after the dance with my friends. We had the time of our lives, dancing, singing, but we knew at some point that it would end. That of course didn't stop us from making it the best dance ever though! Today, about 2 hours ago, I saw a girl off to the metro, it's summer as of now and everyone is traveling, but I sadly won't be coming back to this country again. We used to hangout 6 months ago and we had feelings for each other but I broke it off without an explanation because I knew at some point I'd be leaving. I texted her yesterday and had her come over, we spent the night of yesterday and quite a while of today's morning cuddling and talking about our memories. I regret not texting her sooner, but I'm glad I texted her eventually. I hate the fact that I won't ever see her again, but here's to hoping our paths cross again in the lives ahead of us.

It was 3 days before my 13th birthday, cold winter night. My parents went out to Amish country to get a new dog. It was supposed to be a good night - it was the weekend, Friday night, I had on my games. Approx 1 AM there was banging on my garage door. Somebody broke in and I ended up taking his life with my dad’s rifle. He was a young kid, he was only 16 and his birthday was a week before mine. He wasn’t trying to rob the house either, he was on psychedelics and they believed he was just trying to get back home. I was so scared at the time, and young - so I thought the route I took was the best. Rest in peace brother.
